Cons -
- nothing!
- That I couldn’t stay longer!
- There wasn't a brilliant view from our room, but there wasn't really much to complain about - we loved our stay here and would definitely return! The owners are kind and helpful and great, but don't speak much English. I actually enjoyed this, as it gave me a chance to practice speaking Italian, which I didn't get a chance to do in more touristic locations, but others may not find that so fun and may need to use google translate to help!

The property is located on the top of the hill in a beautiful Tuscan village where Michelangelo (the Renaissance artist) was born. The food at the restaurant is amazing, and you can walk to the sister restaurant (Il Cerro) just down the road. The staff are amazing, the food delicious, the panoramic views INCREDIBLE, and the room was a great value. Living room with sofa, large kitchenette with a 6 person dining space, separate bedroom and classic Tuscan bathroom. Amazing deal.

We loved our stay at this perfectly kept family hotel and restaurant. The room was delightful. The view from the restaurant was stunning. The proprietors were kind and welcoming. The dinner at the restaurant was extraordinarily good and very reasonably priced.
the staff was welcoming. Every person I met spoke highly of it.the staff were eager to please, friendly. Food was very good.
Absolutely everything! We were served drinks upon arrival as we walked 17km (Via di Francesco). Room was the best we had on a 10 day trip, spacious, super clean with all bathroom amenities, lots of towels. Old school with exposed beams.Dinner was fantastic with picturesque views.Great breakfast with super attentive staff. There is NO room for improvement. We will hopefully return at some point.
We loved the location, the view from the restaurant and terrace, the lovely staff, the amazing food and the authentic experience (we were the only non-Italians in the restaurant, and this place is definitely off the main tourist routes). We only booked our night here on the day, on a whim to escape the hot city, but coming to this hotel was one of the highlights of our whole holiday. Great value for money.

When booking the hotel it stated on booking.com that it was much closer to Santo Stefano, when in fact it was 10 kilometers away. We are walking the Via di Francesco and were not able to find a way to get there, after a long day of walking. The hotel staff were not helpful in, in trying to help us get there. The taxi number they gave us said "not possible" I tried 2days in advance to get something set up. They did not seem to care. I wouldnt recomend going there as a pilgrim on this walk. We pretty much lost our money. And had a hard time last minute finding somewhere else. " not a pilgrim friendly place"
The rooms were large, beautifully presented and clean. The hotel itself has the most stunning views and the staff and food were lovely.
Great location! Great (Italian & European) breakfast & an extraordinary panoramic view on the tuscan & umbrien mountains!
Love the location… Loved the room and the hospitality shown by staff was five star! The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. Love the village and would highly recommend staying here if you choose to visit Caprese.
Exceptionally friendly and hospitable people, excellent service, very comfortable accommodation and delicious food! Will be coming back soon!

Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Staff extremely accomodating, sent someone to pick us up at a nearby town as we had no way to get to Caprese Michelangelo from there, and again drove us to Sansepolcro the next morning. Magnificent views from hotel restaurant.
