Pros +
- Very well decorated. Warm and friendly hosts. Beautiful food.
- Charming hosts. Lovely quirky garden. Very authentic. Great location on the canal de midi. Outstanding food. Thank you
- Really friendly family hotel. The food on offer was really nice. The area is really quiet, and there are plenty of little walks to go on.
Cons -
- The rooms and furnishings are quite old and you can hear a lot through the walls.
- The bathroom
- Would have liked a kettle and cups in the room. Would have liked a full toilet roll or a spare The only bedside table was some kind of model of an African animal, large object but the actual table surface was tiny.

Excellent breakfasta good selection of home cooked food. Perfect eggs and delicious warm baked apples.
The bathroom
very friendly hosts, excellent dinner and BF based on local organic products and fait maison
My friend and I were cycling the Canal du Midi and needed a stop in the village of Marseillette. This property is right on the canal and easily accessible and I would describe it as quirky / eccentric in its decor. Decent welcome from the host who showed us where we could store our bikes securely overnight and showed us our room. We had booked a twin room and the room provided was small but adequate and must have been the "African room" as it was decorated throughout with African decor, bedding, objects etc. Wifi decent, no tea or coffee making facilities but we were provided with a jug of hot water and two cups when we asked, as we had brought our own teabags with us. Only one toilet roll provided and it was half used already so we were sparing. Shower good. Quite a noisy night as the water pipes appeared to pass through our room so we heard every time someone else flushed or filled and emptied their sink. Breakfast was buffet style continental and pretty good - hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, bread, cake and homemade jams and spreads. There is a restaurant at the property but we didn't have our evening meal there - we walked along the road into the village centre where there is a bar/snack bar and the food was spot on, casual dining, good value.

Good location for walking the Canal du Midi. comfortable room and good home cooked food. the owners are very friendly.
The couple running the Auberge were very friendly and attentive The food was home cooked and lovely
Everything , especially the evening meal which was delicious.I am a vegetarian and the meal surpassed all my expectations. The owners are a very welcoming couple ,attentive to their clients needs.
I have nothing negative to say about my stay in this family hotel.
Either the hosts, the food or the garden were our favorite - all were wonderful. An extra touch, we were given a sheet of rather marvelous bandaid or moleskin for our blisters. So kind and welcomed. And really helped for the rest of the canal walk. It was a little oasis.
Very friendly owners - Michel and Emmanuel - delightful hosts. Excellent meal in the restaurant on the night we arrived. Would go back there if we are on another short trip.
Shower size a little small but not a problem for a few days stay.
The owners were amazingly friendly and helpful The garden is beautifully kept Great dinner! Great location for bikers at the Canal du Midi Secured garage to store bikes over night The dog :)
The air-conditioning did not cool down properly The shower was too small and there was not a good shower pressure The breakfast did not show much diversity, however all food was locally produced
Nice place, friendly staff, very accommodating
Close to the road - if windows are open at night traffic noise is too loud Rather small beds - with 185cm hight it was not very comfortable Breakfast would benefit from some cheese/ham/sosages..
Loved all of it! absolutely unique we were made very welcome, and the food was great
there was nothing to dislike, there could have been a problem with the dinner as there was no choice, but you should understand this before booking.
