Read about the spirit of the place first. That's how it's meant to be. And for the price, you very hardly can find any better.

- Poor reception - eventually spoken to by a girl with a cigarette hanging from her mouth. Corridors poorly lit. Shower very small. Charged 65euros by booking : only 39 euros for the same deal in the hotel. Now accused of leaving without paying and currently waiting their response - luckily I have the card receipt
- Outside was pitch black when we arrived, room falling apart, few charging sockets, shower 80s style, stains on bedsheets, heating non existent, desk wedged between beds, and the cherry on the cake : breakfast a disaster

For my was a bad experience.
Worst place I ever stayed since using booking.1st when u arrive in the room you need to fight with all the flies that u have in your room & bathroom (I had around 11).i find 2 smashed big spiders on the wall. The host response was that this is a country side and is normal for flies to be around (inside room). The bed linen was clearly not changed and the pillow was dirty.
Nice place if not a little rough around the edges. Staff were great and there was entertainment on on the night I was there. Rooms are very dated but perfectly acceptable for the price. Communal dining may not be to everyone's liking.
This is really great value, perfectly situated hotel in a beautiful valley at the base of Tourmalet & Aspin. Perfect location for cycling, skiing or hiking. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and dinner was delicious. The rooms have a very cool 70’s vibe and are very clean, with all facilities, including a nice balcony. I’ll definitely visit again.
