Light on our garage didn't work properly, making unpacking the motorcycles at night a bit tricky.

A bit too prison-like, BUT once you got used to it, it was great!

The check-in process was very easy and it was close to Salamanca

Our room STANK!! of cigarettes. It was awful and it wouldn’t go away even with the window open.Also, we had a couple on the room next to us who wouldn’t shut up, not even at 2am and it was impossible to sleep the first night. They announce their rooms are soundproof and I think I’ve never been on a more thin paper walls hotel… also, no toiletries for the shower, apart from body wash.

Motel but with a private garage and a second floor room. Clean, comfortable, quiet and have a good privacy.

Bed is a bit tough but ok for sleeping well.

The whole concept of the hotel with the private garage is great. Definitely a concept I would recommend and would like to see more of. Travelling for 3 months we had lots of belonging in the car and we felt the hotel offers a safe option to leave the car. You don't see any staff and there are no facilities but that was fine for us. The place is clean an comfortable.

Different access to get into your garage rather than an app as I did have a little trouble down loading so had to buzz to be let in

The price

This stay I had no WiFi and the parking app didn't work however, contact with staff was easy and sorted the arrival and leaving issues.

The room is very good: quite big, with air condition, big beds etc. The building is very unusual: every room has its our garage, you enter the garage, park your car and arrive the room though the garage.

the check-in process is a nightmare for those ones who does not speak Spanish. You should download the Spanish app, the whole communication via Telefone was also in Spanish. If you don't manage to use the app, you can always call the stuff, but everything is in Spanish and everytime you leave your room "w/o a key", you are not sure where you can come back ;)I would assume that this check-in tool is very comfortable for the Spanish speakers.

NOTHING - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL OR THIS PLATFORM IF YOU RESPECT YOUR HARD EARNED CASH.I asked repeatedly for reimbursement for a room I could not access through no fault of my own and neither the hotel provider or booking.com have extended the courtesy of replying to my email or telephone requests for reimbursement.Disgraceful example of them being willing to take your money and then do nothing when there is a problem

EVERYTHING - My wife and I arrived on site and could not access our room.As it was a self check-in,there was no one on site to assist if there was a problem.The accommodation is a few kilometres out of town with poor connectivity so we had to go into town to ring the number provided in case of emergency.I rang twice and spoke to a very unhelpful person who could not speak English and who refused to put me onto someone who could assist us.He was very abrupt and hung up on me when I said I could not communicate with him in Spanish.My wife and I returned to Hotel Cries to try and access our room again to no avail.We then went back into town and rang a further two times in an attempt to resolve our problem and get our room for the night.The second time I rang the person on the other end of the line became abusive when I told him I could not speak Spanish and needed someone who could speak English and he hung up on me AGAIN !!! We then had to go and book another room at another hotel which was horrendously costly

On leaving garage the automatic door closed on roof of car causing slight scratches on roof of car. I managed to raise garage door to exit garage but garage door was damaged. I told the reception through microphone which was only way to speak with anyone, the only response being to raise exit barrier from the property.

I loved the self check in, download an app that lets you unlock the garage that leads to your own private appartement right above the garage , secured and quiet area. Clean and cheap . Petrol station 1 minute drive from here.

As you come off the motorway, it will feel like you are driving into an industrial estate and roads are not lit , but after 15 minutes you get to see the hotel the main road .

Terrible experience!!! Would really like a response from booking.com because we were treated so badly. One, the reception wouldn't help us with any information about where we were staying and what we needed to enter the room, just over a speaker system told us to go to room 16 and 17, it was opened electronically but we weren't given a key or any instructions. At 1am a stranger came into my room, I am a single woman and was totally terrified.. it seems the reception double booked the room. But what danger that could have put me in!!! And to add to that, my friends who had the room next door, also had a stranger walk in on them at 2am. When we complained in the morning to the speaker receptionist he told us he wouldn't help and told us to contact booking.com. when I looked at the app, he had immediately cancelled his booking saying we hadn't shown. I have proof we were there, I connected to the TV in the room so I can send screenshot that I was in the room. They are liars and cheated us out of our money, as well as putting us in dangerous situations opening our private rooms to strangers in the middle of night.

Not what I expected

Needed a 1 night stay in Salamanca and everything in town was booked due to convention. We booked here and it was weird to say the least. The 1 good thing is there is a private garage connected to the room. This motel claims to be a "3-star hotel". Nothing could ne further than the truth. The check-in is done as a drive through, speaking into a speaker, no person visible. They tell you which room is yours, open the gate so you can drive in. They control the garage remotely so it opens as you drive up. Go upstairs to landing by the door. enter the unlocked room. There is a door across from room door. Above it a sign says Emergency exit. However it is locked. They show online that there is room service, not. Community area, not. Pictures of food trays delivered, not. We left to get dinner. You drive around building only to be met with another gate. It has an area for money to be paid... What the heck?? Pushed the communication button, we tell the voice we need to leave for dinner. They ask our name and room number. We give it but they keep asking for it over and over and over again. <it felt like we were being held hostage. My husband got out of the car and went to the check-in window. He got them on that intercom and yelled at them to open the gate. They finally did. Upon reading all the info on their website it states the rooms can be rented by the hour. Now the no face to face contact makes sense. This is where you go for quickies and affairs that you want to keep secret. At that point we were creeped out by what a black light would show. Slept on top of the sheets and could not wait to leave.

You could tell the previous guest smoked inside the room. Not the property's fault, but I hope they got fined.

The room is relatively large, and the garage is the room, suitable for self driving tourists.

Very clean and comfortable apart from ran out of hot water when the second person had a shower!

We had a kid and a dog so the parking right under the room was so easy and convenient. The bed was big and really comfortable and the big TV was also amazing. There was also a great green area right in front of the room to walk our dog, very practical.

The person I had to check in with and check out with was horrible, rude, had no patience whatsoever, and couldn't care less, and he wasn't even there!!! It was all done through an intercom that was placed so low, that I had to be on my knees to talk to him so he would hear me properly. And since I had to pay with a credit card, he made me say the numbers out loud into the intercom, I was horrified! He was very annoyed I wasn't paying cash. A horrible person that the hotel chose to have talking to the customers.

The garage is great! Privacy, clean, big bed, spacious bathroom.
