Convento Da Serta Hotel

Historic place which is super well revamped to an excellent hotel accomodation. With nice donner recommendations!Great staff, with nice pride about a lot of things to do in the surrounding area. And rightfully so, it is marvelous!

The property has an interesting and historic history. An outgoing and friendly owner and staff. My room was large and comfortable with everything I needed for an excellent adventure. The breakfast buffet was top with many items to choose from. Including Organic. The pool was cool for hot day's. Location Optimal for exploring Serta and beyond.

Some helpful suggestions to consider. A mini fridge in room would be a bonus plus small tea kettle. More umbrellas are needed at pool so that guest can get shade from the sun.

The convent is located in a quiet neighbourhood near the river. Our room was comfortable with a small terrace that we used a lot. The staff was helpful and kind, with good advice about nearby places to visit. Breakfast was very good.

We would love to come back....what more can I say! The staff were so lovely, and the room was really comfortable. Sertã is a lovely town to stroll around, and a good base for hiking too!

Beautiful old building converted to modern standards. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large with plenty of light. On one side there is a lovely view of the river. Free coffee and fruit continuously available. Breakfast choice extremely good. Slightly lacking atmosphere which, we personally feel, could be addressed by adding more paintings and colour. But overall a nice hotel.

Cold, cold, cold. The room was cold when we first arrived though we do appreciate that the heating is not turned on until the room is booked, and we do same day bookings. But even the public areas are cold. We stayed during winter, but do feel the overall comfort of temperatures should be addressed.

The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Superb restoration of this historical building, allied to a wonderful hotel, with a priveleged location right in the middle of the city. Outstanding breakfast and staff.

Free parking. Location and silence. Fair breakfast.

Our room was the historic one, which has an iron railing in the interior. It has moisture issues and smells of mold. Plus, you don't have a view. Outside, it has a white wall two feet from the window. The pool is is very small and is in between walls.

Beautiful building in an equally beautiful location with very comfortable rooms. Staff are so helpful and can’t do enough for you. The selection of food at breakfast was excellent.

It is a gorgeous, well-run, super clean hotel in a prime location. I wish I could have stayed a second night to explore Serta and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the hotel was completely booked out. The breakfast was amazing.

Great central location, wonderful facilities and delicious breakfast - above all it was truly customer focused … everything had been thought through from the eyes of the guests … right down to the best ever robe and slippers too!!

Property was beautiful. Next to a lovely little park and river. Breakfast was varied, fresh, and plentiful. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The pool was pretty cold, but still nice.

A beautiful place to stay, town was a short walk away with lots to see, and with plenty of places to eat. The breakfast was the usual buffet fare. The staff were attentive and responsive to all needs.

The location was ideal, very central to lot of amenities. Excellent breakfast choices. Most of all , the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The USB port in the room wasn’t working, highlighted the issue but had my phone charged at reception.

Beautiful hotel with good sized rooms, great breakfast, and very friendly and attentive staff.

I think the hotel is missing a fireplace in the main sitting area and in the library/games room. I am not implying that it felt cold -not at all. A fireplace would create a lovely atmosphere and a cozier lounge area.
