    Pros +

    • The hotel is set in a beautiful village, tranquil riverside location, surrounded by hills. Our host, Peter, was incredibly welcoming, and spoke good English. We arrived late for check-in; he waited up for us and even offered to make us food and drink after all of the staff went home. He was able to make us laugh, kept us smiling every time we saw him, was attentive, and kindly offered us blankets/seat pads when we were sitting outside in the evening. The food we ordered was nice (chicken caesar salad, pulled pork burger, mixed salad, and pork fillet/doll). There's a trampoline and hot tub, which we didn't use, but is nice for children.
    • Hotel in nature by the river. Comfortable room. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Sauna and pool.
    • Big hotel in small village with a nice trout river in the backyard. Very good freshly cooked breakfast. Plenty of parking. Very friendly owner who gave me a bottle of wine at the end of my stay. Good place for sporting people too with possibility for fly fishing, walking or mountain bike. There is a grocery shop in the village if you need something. Nice roads around for driving (car or motorcycle). Had a room with view onto the river.

    Cons -

    • The rooms could do with updating: there is no air conditioning, the fridge in the room is more like a cool-box that doesn't keep things cold, no beside lamps, no kettle/teas/coffees, the carpets were quite grubby, etc. The breakfast buffet was covered in flies, making it unappealing. The menu doesn't cater for vegetarians/vegans: the only option was fried cheese, or salad (where you pick out the cheese/chicken). The hotel is functional, but lacks attention to detail that one would expect.
    • I was the only guest staying at the hotel.
    • a bit expensive as hotel and food is rather standard

    Location

Fantastic location, very caring staff, everything needed available in good quality.

We somehow couldn't sleep well. Maybe because of the bed or traffic outside.

    nice location for trips

    - limited menu/no soup 6pm?/lower quality- dog friendly?- issues with card payment in restaurant, but weird you cannot by charged to a room bill (you have to pay every time in restaurant)

    very nice location for trips

room equipment or breakfast do not match the price (room was not cleaned during stay, without fridge or hygiene supplies…) - I am not demanding, just wrong expectation based on price… food was very good in restaurant and sweet-shop as well

A business trip, one night. TOP location, some amazing stuff like the dam, ice ferrat and some great hilltops around + river Svratka right besides the hotel. Only thing is the Covid situation so there was only two guests in the hotel. I could totally imagine being here in normal situation and enjoying all benefits (jacuzi, gym, sauna). Anyway all was great...

it is a pity but due to covid there was no gym or sauna entry, not only separately
