Hotel La Beltraneja

I loved everything about this hotel. Perfect location in town, super comfortable bed, very clean, and the staff was so friendly. Although the hotel itself does not have parking, there is free parking just a few meters away. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The place is very comfortable with a nice view of the ”arch". The best restaurant in town is right next door to the hotel. Complementary water, espresso, tea, and snacks. The medieval architecture of the building is beautiful.

The shower drain was a bit clogged. Bed was a bit hard for my liking.

The owner and his son were very prompt in answering any questions and meeting us to hand over the keys. The room and communal areas were spotless and the music was beautiful and relaxing.

Amazing experience to stay in an authentic medieval castle built in 14 century. Right in the middle of beautiful village plenty of restaurants and cafes . The room was perfect ! The bed is cosy, everything is with the touch of good taste .

Hard ans super high pillows.

Almost everything: the cleaness, the shower, the size of the room, the small decoration details. When I had a problem with the coffee machine, it was fixed straight away.

The cleaning lady didn't change my towels the first day when I indicated that I wanted my room to be cleaned. (But the other days she did ?)

Excellent Hotel in an historic setting . Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Efficient underfloor heating was a bonus. Very tastefully decorated.

Very customer unfriendly!

A mistake was made by booking or by Hotel manager about our reservation : We booked 1 night / 1 room, apparently manager had on his records 1 night / 2 rooms which we did not book and was not on our booking form. Manager did not want to rectify this and became very aggressive . We showed our booking form: 1 night/1 room. For more then one hour he denied this and finally he charged us for the 2 rooms instead of 1. We contacted booking about this but they were not very helpful. Hope you never have problems with booking. There system to deal with problems is a big mess and they don't strive for a solution. We received many mailsabout this from booking when complaining but messages were not clear, asking same things over and over again, different ppl dealing with it without interaction between them, one is saying this the other one that and no solution.Best is to contact hotels directly. That way you can manage your booking better and pay 15-25 % less . Also it is better to avoid this hotel and manager or if you go make sure your booking is ok in order to avoid very unpleasant surprises

The room was absolutely beautiful. Loved the little seat by the window and bed was extra comfortable. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. Loved all the small details. And the location in general was exceptional.

In the heart of the town, tucked away in a quiet corner and literally in the medieval walls. Parking in the plaza is close by, Aida asked us to call her when we got to the parking and she appeared almost immediately. Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped rooms. The artwork on the walls transformed a very traditionally furnished room into something stylish. Excellent hi-tech shower. Added bonus was discovering the delightful museum in Buitrago, full of artworks given by Picasso to his friend and barber over many years.

Pretty, atmospheric and tidy place in the heart of old town. The staff was nice and welcoming.

The room was not big, so keep in mind if you have lots of bags or other stuff.

Good value centrally located hotel, clean with good facilities.Didn't think much of Buitrago del Lozoya

the people were so helpful, kind and welcoming. the decor was superb. stylish, modern and extremely tasteful. I loved the colours and the continuos soft music.
