Family Hotel and Restaurant Varosha 2003

Very nice location and perfectly matched the historical atmosphere .

The hot tube was leaking and run out of hot water during my shower.

The location is near the river and there are even stairs to go down to a bench infont of it. Amazing if u are going during hotter times of the year. The food in the Restaurant was really good.(had included breakfast in the price and we also bought dinner there the evening of our stay)We had booked smaller room and we got upgraded to slightly bigger room(for free) as they had less booked rooms during our stay (1 night)

Parking can be challenging

Nice little hotel on the river . beautiful view from the terrace . Room was clean and cozy , nice shower , comfy bed , TV and wi-fi worked as they should . Up a couple of flights of narrow stairs , not to bad . Best things for us was the friendly , helpful staff and the food . We had supper and breakfast . Traditional Bulgarian dishes , very tasty . Breakfast was exceptionally good . They gave us one of everything on the menu , came with the room . Pretty outside dining area , couple of cats for company . Walking distance to the town and a couple of little grocery stores close by . Quaint and quiet area .

The couple that greated us on arrival are just amazing. They make you feel welcome and ready to help. The room we had was of a lake view, so in the evening we enjoyed a glass of wine on it's balcony. Parking is on the street but we had no trouble at all finding a spot.

Clean rooms, polite staff, good traditional Bulgarian breakfast, rustic traditional guesthouse with a lot of charm.

Maintenance should be slightly improved.

Excellent location, short distance to the covered bridge (5-7 minutes walk).Spacious room, nice decorated, comfortable bed.Good breakfast. Restaurant has good food and affordable prices, being rates as one of the best in town.

Being an old building, some of the furniture was old, but clean. The room I stayed in has a very small bathroom, clean, but with a specific smell.

Location - it was in a great location. We drove and it was easy to get toParking - extremely easy, plenty of free parking right in front of the hotelRoom - incredible for the value. We got a queen room and a nice sitting area with a couch and fireplaceFood - breakfast was included and it was incredible. We got the continental breakfast and omelette, and the food came out quickly, fresh, and tasty.We also got dinner here as well and we were glad we did. We got the veal, the chicken kavarma, the fried eggplant, the sea bream and garlic cheese bread. Absolutely no complaints as food was delicious and service was great

Nothing. I've seen other reviews about the bathroom where shower is in the same area as the toilet, but I heard that's typical especially in Europe and smaller towns and it didn't bother us at all. Just manage your expectations around this.

We liked everything, starting with the room, food, facilities, quietness. The hotel is very close to the Covered Bridge and the Fortress, as we didn't need to use the car.

The location near the river is great, close to restaurants. Nice traditional house. Overall nice experience for 1 night.

The staff not nice and not smiling, not very approachable. The breakfast was nice, but the fact you need to ask a waiter and not knowing how many items you can have makes it a bit uncomfortable. There is no shower cabin, you shower directly on the bathroom floor...Old furniture and appliances.

The location is great, very walkable and easy to find. The staff were friendly & the apartment was clean. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. There is a full restaurant as well which is nice to have. We really enjoyed our stay and besides a few concerns with the apartment would recommend.

As always in Europe be prepared to navigate stairs & tight spaces. The layout of the 2 bedroom apartment is a bit strange- you must walk through the bathroom to get onto the balcony. The “kitchenette” is just a fridge and a counter, no dishes or utensils are provided and no sink, you’ll need to use the bathroom sink. Our biggest concern was our parents getting in and out of a huge jetted tub to use the shower, we would not rebook this apartment when traveling with them as it is a safety concern.

The breakfast was decent, but very poor. In the morning they have only a cup of coffee, tee, milk or glass with juice or water.On the other hand, the location was a 10+

I'm still waiting for the price difference for one night to be refunded, because although I booked and paid for the Double Deluxe room, on the first night I was only given a Double room.Also, I can't understand, we were 3 people, 2 adults and a child, with half board reservation for breakfast and dinner, but for dinner we were told in the location that in the offered price they only allocate dinner for two people. Honestly, this could have been communicated via booking and told if we still needed to pay some additional money.

I wish it were colder when I stayed. The room had a working fireplace! Lovely views from my balcony (room 9). Good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.

I'm 77. My room was on the 3rd floor and the restaurant is in the cellar. Whoosh!

The hotel and staff are nice and kind. The location is amazing, right near the river. The room had an amazing fireplace, which added to the charm. However, it was not very clean. The bathroom was very cold since it had no heating, but the room itself was warm. The sheets needed to be changed as they were quite torn. On the bright side, the breakfast was good and tasty, and the restaurant was excellent—the food was amazing!

We rented room with a fireplace. The fireplace was ready, there was enough wood. The breakfast was delicious, there was 7 or 7 different types in the breakfast list. The food in the restaurant was great.
