Landhotel Franck Garni

Dear hotel, I'm sorry the reception isn't staffed. I made a reservation at a hotel where I hope to arrive and have someone there to assist me.Unfortunately, I'm being told by email in language which I don’t understand that you will leave the key somewhere in some place you are referring to. I'm an 18-year-old from another country with a late arrival time, and I was needing someone to greet me. When I made the reservation, I never mentioned the lack of staff to check me in. I was forced to make another reservation at a nearby hotel, even for a higher price. I suggest you consider reimbursing my reservation.Thank you very much. Kind regards

Breakfast, was amazing.Had also a fridge with self service drinks.We had door directly out in garden where you could use seating

Sadly no restaurant anymore.Maybe too big table desk in room, was like a dinner table.

The beds were the most comfortable we've had for a long time. We would have liked to stay longer because of the beds! The breakfast was nice. Many of the staff spoke English. Parking was easy. There is a small shopping centre with a supermarket and post office a short drive away. If we're in the area again this will be our first choice.

At present the highway is closed a short distance from the accommodation due to roadworks both locally and further north. The accommodation is on the Luneburg side of the closure so for us it was convenient as we were coming from the city. This is not a permanent problem and nothing the property can do about it.

Clean, tidy, nice dinner in a restaurant which was open in the evening, not only for breakfast as seems to be common in this area!?There is a car park directly across the road from the hotel which is very handy.

It would have been nice to be put in a room further away from the wedding party because of the noise.

Breakfast lacked fresh fruit. Granola selection was exhaustive, though.No elevator available.

We were travelling and this place was ideal for a nice, cheap and comfortable break of our journey

Unfortunately the restaurnt was not open which was a dissapointment. The staff did however inform about open restaurants close to the hotel so we didn't go hungry.

We stayed here as a family of 4 for one night on our journey back south. The room was great - plenty of room, comfortable beds and a good shower. While the restaurant was closed due to covid, breakfast was still served and was amazing! A great selection to keep adults and kids happy, ranging from muesli and cold cuts to home-made jams and candy! The staff is very helpful and nice - despite the restaurant being closed, you can currently enjoy drinks in the hotel bar or take them out into the lovely garden behind the hotel. There's also a good pizza and ice cream place close by.

Two middle aged couples on an 18-day 12 hotel road trip thru DE-CH-IT-CH-DE. This was our 12th and final stop before returning home.. Being one of the "cheapest" hotel of them all, we didn't know what to expect. Hotel was fine, but yet another "ruhe tag" with restaurant closed. So can't judge that.

Ruhe Tag info should be information spelled out for us travellers and help us with planning and booking. 3 out 12 is not good. And no other restaurant (I do not call fast food restaurant) open in the village.

big bedrooms, big shower too!

I had a double extra long bed with a single duvet, a bigger duvet would have been nice. a bar fridge in the room would have been helpful too.

Breakfast was very nice. 20 kinds of jam. Full room full of buffet.

Clean rooms , the best breakfast we had on our 2 week trip .

It was really clean.
