    Pros +

    • The host was very kind wh n we arrived late. The court yard was beautiful and the beds comfortable.
    • Quiet beautiful place. The room was quite basic, but comfortable.
    • Breakfast was basic but apple juice was to die for. Lovely little town/village but the few restaurants served good food and were very friendly despite my lack of French. Owner was was lovely and very helpful with restaurant bookings/info. Very quiet location. Comfy bed....and I had a back operation 8 months ago...

    Cons -

    • Very small but functional room. A bit expensive for the size but the location was ideal.
    • I wouldn't know what to say. Good price/quality ratio.
    • I arrived late at night and it was hard to figure out how to enter the parking and the building. It was very dark and the light is automatic but it stops as soon as you stop moving. So I had to use the flashlight on my phone.

The cutest hotel in the Loire Valley.

I arrived late at night and it was hard to figure out how to enter the parking and the building. It was very dark and the light is automatic but it stops as soon as you stop moving. So I had to use the flashlight on my phone.

Beautiful and very quiet small town, unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the grounds surrounding this small hotel. The entrance from the street was small but clearly marked with a sign. There was plenty of parking inside the courtyard. Our room was very clean, with a very nice patio door, with a full size "volet" to close for privacy. The hostess was super friendly with recommendations for good restaurants in town, since many businesses close on Mondays in France !

I wished we could have stayed here a few more days, but our itinerary didn't allow it.

Perfectly adequate, simple (bare bones) place to stay in a location that was convenient for our plans. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was lovely.

The curtains could have been thicker for more privacy, we were worried people could see through into our room. In the morning there were some very loud horrible noises that we later guessed was a a guest who was locked in their room and couldn't figure out how to unlock and open the door. The noises went on for over 20-minutes, very early in the morning--repetitive and frequent--pretty unpleasant. Not really the fault of the hotel... but maybe the locking mechanisms could be easier to use. I'd like if something more substantial were offered for breakfast, such as a few eggs.

Easy parking, comfortable clean room and hotel

It was in a pretty town near a forest

The decor of the room was like a hospital and not pleasant

Host was very friendly and knowledgeable.Cheap price and great location, only 15 minute drive from Chambord.

The room smelt awful, there was hair in the sheets, pillows and bathroom. The curtain was see through and you could see people walking and cycling on the path nearby. If it was clean and had thicker curtains, we would've been more than happy with the room.

Welcoming owner who very kindly let us drop our luggage off before our room was ready. Safe parking for motorcycle.

We liked that it was in the centre of the village still removed from the street and very quiet. The owner was super knowledgeable and gave us great tips for our bike ride. The breakfast with local apple juice was just great!

    nice breakfast and spacious rooms

the decor was dated. the next door hotel had a nice outdoors area for drinks but nothing on this one. missed opportunity

Nice location and quiet location, 10 min away from Chateau de Chambord. Good breakfast provided in a nice and quiet setting.

Cleanliness - one of our pillows was full of hairs.

The setting in the gardens was a surprise in the centre of town (once I figured out the entrance) It must be beautiful in the summer.

Very clean and a beautiful breakfast area.

The staff is super friendly. The facility has a lot of charm. A park is really close. The property is perfect for discovering the Loire valley and the châteaus.

Like usual in France the breakfast is a lit bit overpriced.

    6SchottPosted on: 7-30-2022

The village is nice and quiet. Close to the main attractions.

Soulless room, dirty shower stall, too expensive and poor breakfast.

Very quiet location. Handy for exploring the countryside. Staff very helpful.

    All very good.

Simply furnished but very comfortable hotel. We particularly enjoyed our own little terrace. Breakfast was inexpensive but fully adequate and very good.

    Nothing to dislike

    7JenniferPosted on: 2-18-2022

The location and the hotel was pet friendly.

The lighting in the room and bathroom was much too bright and there was no way of adjusting it. There was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room to make drinks, which would have been better. No hair drier or soap provided.

secure, clean, garden area accessed directly from the property, breakfast area nicely laid out & furnished
