    Pros +

    • I loved the little outdoor patio area and even though it is located on a fairly main road for that part of France, the back was very scenic and serene with the little pond in the back. There was a true French country charm...a little rustic, but clean and comfortable. It was reasonably priced and I wish I had planned more days there because it was close to so many things to do.
    • Super friendly and attentive staff, small dinner menu (charcuterie or sandwiches) in the summer, comfortable bed, clean, modern bathroom with shower door, well-located in between Chambord and Cheverny. It was perfect for a one-night stay.
    • The location was great for day travel in the area. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful.

    Cons -

    • It wasn't 100% obvious where to park, but it worked out. Other than that it was great.
    • Air conditioning would be a plus, and the pillows were a bit flat. These are small gripes, though. I really enjoyed staying here.
    • The weather was hot and the rooms were uncomfortably hot during the night. There is no air conditioning but the staff did give us a fan upon request.

Lovely little town and basic but very clean and comfortable facilities in the snow.

Nothing wrong with the property. But the local town didn’t have much choice of restaurants on a Thursday night. We ended up with just bread and cheese from the supermarket, but they had a good choice so no real complaints.

The breakfast. Good safe parking Modern building

Dangerous rug in the disabled room, needs replacing. Also although we had paid extra for a disabled room at first the receptionist gave us a n ordinary roo,

    Good location and affordable price.

Very basic. A tiny bar of soap and towels were provided. No A/C even though there is a unit in the room that looks like it should provide cool air, no Kleenex, shampoo, etc.

A convenient location the beautiful little village of Bracieux. The room has front and rear doors from the exterior, so plenty privacy and space to sit outside in the evening. Usual European buffet breakfast. Limited interaction with staff which will suit some as it was very unobtrusive. Location is ideal for Chateau de Chambord.

Only a bath available with no stand-up shower, and I didn't seem to have a key that fitted the rear door.

Sheet was dirty as was one towel, hair in bed, no cups in Bathroom, no soap, WiFi didn't work

Worst place we stayed in all of France.

Rooms filthy. Staff uncommunicative. Bad, overpriced breakfast.

    8MichelePosted on: 8-16-2023

Location, rooms were spacious and clean.

Staff was kind and available, but they could speak only French.

Pleasant location on the edge of a nice village - very quiet. Basic accommodation but ok for overnight stop. Excellent restaurant serving reasonably priced great food about 300m walk from the "hotel". Good breakfast

No in-room drinks provided but facilities available in the reception / dining area for DIY. No air-conditioning so room was a little hot for sleeping.

Staff were very friendly.parking was nearby. A good shower.

No drinking glasses provided. No tea/coffee facilities in room. No toaster, as suggested. Patio door was smashed. Extremely basic.

not a top hotel but the room was clean and comfortable. There was a table and chairs outside the French windows. Breakfast was ok. Bike parking very secure. great hotel for stop over. really rate it for a stop on cycling tour

    7PéterPosted on: 3-17-2023

    Quite place.

The lady at the reception did not speak English at all, not even the common sentences like breakfast time. No power outlet for two (we have found two in the cabinet(!) in the morning...). The room was certainly cleaned, but at higher places (lamp, edges, under the washbasin) quite a lot of dust.

    8JenniferPosted on: 8-22-2022

Nice room on ground floor with door to garden area and outside table and chairs very little noise towels changed daily and bathroom tidied

Pink toilet paper would have preferred white

    7SabrinaPosted on: 8-13-2022

Close to various Loire Castles. Parking spot available near to the room. Quiet location and beautiful dark sky in the night.

There was no fan in one of our rooms (but we didn't complain at the reception about that). Dangerous hole in the yard in front of the rooms, easy to stumble on. The quality of the breakfast was not consistent with the price. The lake they talk about in the description is actually a pond.
