- Last time we arrived late because the flight was delayed. We called the emergency number at the front door and a woman picked up the phone. She said it is now too late and check-in is not possible anymore. When asking what we are supposed to do now she told us we can sleep in our car... just unbelievable. We went to another hotel in Piacenza just 20 min. away where we got very nice rooms that did not cost much more. So will not stay there anymore.

The a/c was off when above 30 degrees outside. Impossible to enter the room.
The location was fine, although easily missed on the outskirts of town. Our bicycles were safely secured in the adjoining garage. Next to a Co-Op store, handy as no breakfast is offered.
Having to wait until 4.30pm for Reception to open; that's tough after a long day on the road.
