Hotel Poseidon

Beautiful hotel with a great pool. The beach area was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Location to beach amazing.

WiFi is horrible. Recommend using a password for GUESTS ONLY. Don’t agree that a hair cap needs to be worn to enter pool. That’s just not acceptable. It’s like Covid w the face mask. Useless!

Hotel Poseidon was the most beautiful sea front hotel we have ever stayed in. Hearing the waves crash from our room was amazing. Being steps from the beach was perfect!

There was not one thing we didn’t like about the property!

The setting was beautiful as was the private beach.

GREAT LOCATION ON A PRIVATE BEACH. THE FACILITIES WERE BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MAINTAINED, AND THE STAFF WAS ATTENTIVE.

IT WAS A BIT DIFFICULT TO GET TO AS WE WERE DRIVING. STILL, IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE.

Hotel was positioned close to beach and was very relaxing and quiet with sea views , even though road is close by it didn’t disturb us at all. We tried a couple of local eateries within walking distance and both were very good . Pizza in one was excellent . Staff in hotel were very professional and attentive and friendly . Excellent service ! Room wasspacious clean and modern and very good breakfast. For a relaxing holiday this place is perfect location and we would return.

Poor hotel, very low quality rooms, no room service, beach towels for extra money, Pool is not cleaned. Didn’t like it and left the hotel earlier then planned.

I have nothing to say. All was perfect.

The setting with the pool and the adjacent beach was excellent. Facilities were immaculate and clean. Staff was helpful with travel needs.

Breakfast was good but dinner offerings could use some work.

The hotel is very clean, including bathrooms. The food is very good and the restaurant staff is amazing. The staff did everything for our 1 year old (made special meals and gave us milk when needed).

The hotel had no WiFi for our entire stay of 5 days. This caused us to have to spend an extra $15 per day with our phone providers. We saw 2 mice running in the restaurant. The pool has steps that are not visible which is very dangerous. The hotel director is arrogant and tried to overcharge us. He and the secretary had different prices and he did not provide a detailed receipt of the charges. He even went as far as saying that mice are normal in the "country side" and that the Wifi did not work because of the phones we have (which are the newest on the market). We paid for all meals included which does not include coffee (except at breakfast), or water (except when eating at the restaurant). This hotel is not baby or handicap friendly. There are no ramps for wheelchairs or baby strollers, no handicap parking or places to change babies in the bathrooms.

Arriving at the hotel to find that it was closed.We received confirmation and details of arrival 4 days before we left the UK. No further communication from either Booking.Com or the Hotel Poseidon.

I found it totally unacceptable not to be advised that my room was going to be:1) with a single bed2) ground floor3) worse than anything else, the room - far from overlooking the sea - was actually next to the railway, with the result that it was impossible to sleepSomething like that, for the price which I have paid, is beyond any reasonable and acceptable “value for money”Such a situation should be well explained prior to booking a room - and priced accordingly Totally unacceptable from a presumed four stars hotel

Excellent breakfast, pool and beach ....... I would like to also send a special shout out to MARIDA !!! What an exceptional staff member !!!!! She was WONDERFUL !!!! We are American Citizens living & working in Belgium and will DEFITIONALLY BE BACK !!! We will tell all of our American friends & our Belgian friends about this wonderful hotel !!! ps: Please give MARIDA a raise !!! She"s AWESOME ! see you soon ! Lori Richards & Hubby

The staff was very nice and friendly, they made our stay amazing! The hotel is very clean in a superb location. Our room had no terrace butat night we could hear the lovely sound of the sea waves from the window. The restaurant serves fresh, tasty meals and local wine. It was a great experience, we will come back!

I wasn’t particularly happy about the bar. I’m a whiskey lover so I a ordered a whiskey after dinner for two nights in a row. On both occasions I had the impression that whiskey was diluted with water. It was more than an impression.
