    Pros +

    • Food, location, staff (including the students working at the academy). Lovely surroundings.
    • Location in the woodland was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal in the restaurant was great and the service very attentive and professional. The room was spacious and clean, decor possibly a little dated. We rented bikes which was easy and a reasonable price.
    • Location, all though the menu is very limited, the food was delicious. Rooms are very spacious.

    Cons -

    • The twin beds had wooden sides, so don’t expect to be able to cuddle anyone, even if the beds are next to each other. Not very comfortable. Parking is a few moments walk away, but umbrellas are provided in the car park
    • We had a couple of issues with the devices in the room, the coffee machine had to be exchanged and then worked but didn't heat the water. The TV remote was for the wrong tv and for the entire stay we didn't have any remote access as their wasn't a replacement, it was a rainy weekend so this would have been nice. But I would still recommend the hotel.
    • The bed was bad, I could feel the metal springs in my back all night, not comfortable at all. The people working at the hotel were friendly, but it took very long to get service every time (at reception/bar/restaurant). No electric car charging possibilities in the near area, so be aware if you come with an electric car.

Location is wonderful, very green and calm. This was the main reason we booked here. The room was a bit strange, but all necessary facilities were available.

The bed was bad, I could feel the metal springs in my back all night, not comfortable at all. The people working at the hotel were friendly, but it took very long to get service every time (at reception/bar/restaurant). The hotel is located near a castle with a beautiful green setting. The hotel itself has large rooms (equipped for disabled people), swimming pool, restaurant ( order in advance). It is also a training institute for young adults with Down's Syndrome, which is a great opportunity for them to learn in real circumstances and be ready for work.

There is a short walk from the car park to the hotel (as stated on the website), which is over a gravel path. This is a bit of a problem with a trolley.

We had to leave very early so the prepared breakfast we could take with us was much appreciated. The rooms were very large and comfortable. We also had to check in late and appreciated that the hotel accommodated check in until 11pm - this was difficult to find at other places along our route.

It was a small thing but we missed having simple coffee facilities in the room.

Nice place where to overnight, it is a sport centrum with bar / pizza place and not too far from the centre. Friendly staff, happy to accomodate clients needs.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very tranquil setting. Staff very helpful. We had an enormous room with a large comfortable double bed with a single bed also in the room. The room was large enough to feel you could dance in it.The bathroom was a wet room with disabled toilet, basin and shower. Stylish decor, good WiFi,TV ,desk and plenty of wardrobe space and bedside tables and comfy chairs.Delicious breakfast although limited hot breakfast options. Good coffee . There is a swimming pool and a good gym.We hadn’t asked for a disabled person’s room, I am unsure if it was because my husband was walking with a stick. The parking is a walk from the hotel but they do allow unloading directly outside the hotel. The walk is through a woodland path which I found very relaxing, especially seeing the deer that live within the grounds. The hotel is very geared up to accommodating disabled people, in fact they have an academy in the building within the grounds where they train disabled people to enter the hospitality industry. The staff are very helpful and eager to assist anyone needing help.

There was a balcony which connected up with the room next door.

Lovely location, room facilities good, bed comfortable.

Hotel didn't cater for British travellers. English not readily spoken.

Very good stay in a beautiful park. Plenty of selection in breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom.

Without a car, it is diffcult to get in there. Parking space is a bit far away from hotel.

Large clean room, nice bed. Pleasant hotel in countryside surroundings. Very good breakfast, nice bar, both in comfortable area's.The staff was (as stated by the hotel itself) "at some distance from the labour market", but as far as I am concerned, the boys are girls are doing an excellent job !

Room not very soundproof, of course it depends on you neighbor whether this is a problem or not.In my case I had a loud snorer and puffer in the next room, who decided that the bed needed to be at a different location in the room and noisily moved the furniture over the floor (and back in the early morning)

This was a great location! Nice view and very clean hotel. Handicap friendly! The staff is amazing and very helpful.

The pool is almost never open for guest. Only 3-4 hours on special schedule. To hours in the morning, one and a half hour in the afternoon and once more in the evening. Its not a problem, it should just have been clear when you book.

    Pool open late, good restaurant

The motorized bed was out of order

The hotel is nice and comfortable with big rooms. it is tucked away so quiet but the car park is a bit of a hike. not ideal if it is pouring down with rain. I was also disappointed that the breakfast service did not start until 8am on a week day. this is too late for those of us who need to hit the road on time.

One of the reasons that I chose this hotel was for the advertised gym however when I went to use it the whole gym was out of service and it looked like it had been that way for quite some time. Breakfast service starts too late for business people.

Great location in the forest, if you like to stay away from the cities and want to get grounded in nature, that’s the place to go. What you get with this price is one of the best I have ever seen.

Car park is a little bit far but that’s managable.
