Pros +
- The property had a beautiful and big garden with a pool to relax. Also there was free parking for the car.
- Beautiful place and lovely friendly staff. Very relaxing and the outside setup and pool very nice. The staff were on hand to help with anything throughout the stay and eager to book restaurant reservations etc. Not overcrowded and had a very homely and relaxed feel.
- Super quiet. Lovely gardens in which you can take your breakfast. They’re also happy for you to bring evening food back to eat in the gardens.
Cons -
- The room was a bit old style and in general very average. It was not the room that was shown in the pictures when we booked.Even though it looked clean at first, we quickly understood that it was not that much. Black hair at the bathroom floor (we saw them when we arrived), mold and dirt around the bathtub, dust in the closet and a strange sense of humidity made our stay not exactly bad but quite unpleasant. The breakfast, that we paid extra for one day had very basic options, not what you expect on that price. The employee we met when we arrived was speaking only in French even though we are not French speakers, and couldn’t even try to explain something in English. In general, it was not a good value for money for a basic room without even a fridge as we paid way less with better services in other hotels in the area around.
- I didn't like the shower / bath setup. The shower was not very manageable and the bath not suitable to use as a bath because of wear and tear. More attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom around the tiles and bath area. No mirror for drying hair with own hair dryer in the main bedroom.
- It was lovely but there were a few minor annoyances; - There is no restaurant & it’s quite a walk to the village to eat out. - Further, the staff said there were no village eateries, but there are & the one we walked to ‘on the hope’ that it was open (L’atrape a vin) was excellent!- If you’re not in a car or don’t want to drive, you will need to walk to the village or get a bus (only two a day) into & out of Avignon.

Nice and helpfull staff, perfect breakfast, amazing pool
The hotel is in a beautiful rural setting and has a lovely pool that we used during our stayThere was no evening meal available but we were able to picnic in the lovely hotel garden. The hotel supplied plates knifes and forks.
There was no evening restaurant avaliable.
Country village setting. Fantastic amenities. Plenty of easy parking.
Bit remote from restaurants but we’ll serviced by in house.
The garden and surrounding. Their white wine as well great value. Frankly, this is a very nice property that make you feel like at home both from the welcome of Anne or the kindness of the owner.
Friendly, it's hard to tell. The shower, perhaps in our bathroom that was yet not renovated.
Very friendly welcome. Overnight recharge for electric car. Very nice surroundings.
Beautiful building and grounds. Direct access from room to garden. Friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was disappointing.
Pretty house and nice pool.
Very small dark room. Hot dishes at breakfast buffet were cold and poor stale selection of bread and pastries. Was told to turn up the hot container myself and wait for it to heat up again! Yuk! Was booked in for 4 nights, left after 2.
I like the situation of the hotel, located in a quiet rural street surrounded by farmland. The hotel is surrounded by trees and greenery and is very relaxing. The hostess, "Anne" is very environamentally minded and very concerend about sustainability. It's not the accommodation to come to if you're looking for a bar or a TV in every room. I would describe the accommodation as simple, yet comforatable.I cannot speak highly enough of the hostess. I came to the hotel after exeperiencing soem difficult personal circumetances. Anne went beyond what she had to, to facilitate my stay. She is extremely friendly and was very accommodating to my individual needs. She provided great assistance to me.
Room and bathroom were more than adequate. The staff were lovely; helpful and friendly.Breakfast was very good.
The owners were very accommodating. The rooms were quaint. The breakfast was very good and the grounds were pretty. You could eat inside or our. The pool was very nice. The rooms are average size with a nice big window looking at the garden. Bathrooms are old but adequate. The bed was quite comfortable.
The tub was very deep and narrow, so standing in it with the handheld shower was a bit awkward.
- very warm and welcoming staff - beautiful territory - fresh and qlean swimming pool - nice breakfast
room has not been cleaned properly: towels were raw and stained, nespresso coffee machine had a black coating and smelled of spoiled coffee
- beautiful garden- good station for electric cars
- more attention to cleanliness in the bathroom (bathtub) in my room- missing luggage rack foldable with backrest
Great location, very clean, great beds, good not noisy a/c, free parking included.
A lot of musquitos in the garden. I did miss a small fridge. The shower is a bit basic.
The hotel was not too far from Avignon city, it was quiet and croissants were great! It had hair dyer, towels, shower gel, shampoo, walkin closet and water bottles. Breakfast for 12€ per person. The room was spacious, antique but well mainatined.
It was a bit hard to find for me, 15 min from Avignon city and at night it was dim. No lights at parking area.
Swimming pool, breakfast, rooms
All was ok
Location is great! Friendly staff! Great breakfast and awesome swimming pool to cool off after spending the day in Avignon!
Another lovely stay at the Castel Mouisson. Relaxing, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. It was a great place to catch the last of the summer sun and enjoy the pool.
