Pros +
- Oro Dubingiai in an amazing location, in the middle of a forest, by the lake. Great for a relaxing retreat to nature. The pool, jacuzzi and all types of spas really help you recharge yourself. You can also play table tennis and pool for free the whole time you are there, which was quite fun.The breakfast was very nice - simple but definitely tasty. Enough choice for anyone. The staff were very friendly.
- Very beautiful view, large room, good breakfast
- The nature is beautiful, a lot of space, fresh weather, trees, birds, lake. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the breakfast was also great. The room was old but quite comfortable.
Cons -
- The rooms are okay, but basic and old, and not for everyone. The apartment complex smelled quite stale inside, definitely not ventilated enough. And what surprised us, as we went in June - the rooms were really cold and required us to to turn up the heating. The food prices at the restaurant are ludicrous, considering it was very simple (yet tasty!) food options. There are no other places to eat at within many, many kilometers - so buckle up to pay 20 euros for some chicken or pork for your dinner. And 10+ euros for any basic snack options. The SPA time is quite short, only 2 hours at a specific time. We had the chance to enjoy it with very few people there, but if there were more visitors, it would've been too crowded and much less relaxing.Considering what you get, it definitely felt a bit overpriced, but the location and nature do compensate a lot. Your enjoyment can be very weather-dependent.
- The water in the shower and sink stinks bad.Would be great to have coffee in a room, there was some tea though. The chef of a restaurant had to act as a waitress as well as they are understaffed, she managed great, the food was delicious and we got all we wanted. I felt sorry though that the owners do not respect their employees making them cover for it all. We had to tell at our arrival what we are going to eat and at what time, cause there was no other way for one person at the restaurant to do it all without planning and serve all the guests. The facilities are maybe comfortable but quite old, you can see that there are no investment in here as a place for guests. Strict times for a restaurant, breakfast from 9 to10, spa 6 to 8 pm , leaving the territory before 12. It was fine for us this time but we usually like more flexifibility.
- a few day strike of the workers of restaurant

It is in nice forest near a beautiful lake
a few day strike of the workers of restaurant
Good place to spent time with family/children. A lot of places for outdoor or indoor activities. Nice beach. Swimming pool and sauna is good if weather is not very warm.
Entrance gate are always closed. Every time when you want go outside, need to call to administrator.
Super not worth money. Cheap hotel for extraordinary price.
Price for what we got. 150€ for night as in NY, but room as in dormitory. Festival was near so that is the only reason we booked.
This is a great facility but if they’re going to advertise to International clients, having English speaking folks to answer the phone is a must. Fortunately, a girl called Aista assisted me AFTER I arrived and she was extremely helpful. Also, having breakfast open at 9am is not useful. Most people who need breakfast need it between 7 and 9am on a working day. And there is no coffee also in the rooms.
The water in the tanks smelt of metal which is what you get when the water has been there in a metal tank for long and is what you get on trains. The smell doesn’t leave you even if you shower and use a lot of perfume.
Within nature.
1. Impossible to get coffe - restaurant not working. 2. Water badly smells in shower. 3. Even barbeque area is paid - it should be included by default! In general everything is outdated and price is too high. That's why several guests in such as big area.
Perfect covered area on the open air with the stage for company meetings
Regular rooms are pretty small, worth to pay for upgrade
Staff was very friendly. Area was very big, with an outdoor chess board, hammocks, ... on a beautiful lake. Breakfast was massive.
Room was very basic. Restaurant was closed on short notice.
Location and individuality.
Not clear communication at the reception, no communication at all (we found locked doors at the reception and at the restaurant), tried to call- nothing, also we were asked to order our dinner as quick as possible before 3 hours at the reception. In booking.com there was written that sauna time will be on weekends 18:00-20:00, but when we called they changed the time to 16:00-18:00, and we were already on the road, so that was very inconvenient communication.
The location is beautiful and the place has a lot of potential.
The hotel is extremely understaffed, therefore everything takes very long. When we arrived the same person was working the reception, cleaning, taking care of everything at the hotel and also was the only waitress at a packed restaurant during peak dinner hours. She was very polite and was doing her best, but that amount of work is not feasible for one person. We had to wait a long time to even order dinner, which was also made by one kitchen worker for all the guests. The dinner was also very overpriced for the quality we received. We bought access to the spa, but it was not clearly visible when booking that spa is only accessible between 18:00 and 20:00 and we arrived late, so we paid for nothing.
Location, lake, staff was great.
Small room, water from shower and sink had bad smell.
Breakfast was nice, location was incredible! Fresh air, plenty of things to do on the property, lake was great and they have a DIVING TOWER!
I had to shut up 3 drunk people under my windows at 2 pm, was close to throwing hands, but they decided to remove themselves instead.
The surroundings
Almost no internet, no phone signal, very rude staff. Disappointing stay. Also gates are often closed, so guests are locked in or locked out. Poor maintenance. Short of staff. The rooms are like from a century ago.
The location is perfect and environment well maintained! At least in May it was pretty empty and quiet, which is great.
The property rules and organization is inconvenient:- Spa zone only works for 2 hours in the evening - why? On Fridays most of people come after work and won't be able to enjoy spa, as it's closed 19:00.- on Sundays everyone is expected to leave after 12:00. The weather was great and I wanted to stay by the lake for longer. Thanks for receptionists who agreed to open the gates and let me out afterwards. However, she wasn't happy about it. It was clearly stated that I was supposed to leave the area after check-out. Why?- Talking about leaving early on Sundays, don't expect to have lunch here. Kitchen closes after breakfast time.- there are really nice forest paths around Oro Dubingiai. However, closed gates make it inconvenient to leave the resort - you have to call the reception everytime, For example, I wanted to go for a run in the forest without my phone, but I had to take it just so I can get out.- It would be nice to have a small fridge or a kettle in the room- if you have a proper espresso machine in the restaurant, make sure it's fully working and available for guests. Thanks to the guy who agreed to make espresso for me (cappuccino was impossible, as the milk steamer didn't work)
the only thing-breakfast was valuable
Spa tragic: cold all over, even light lamps in the changing room was not working. Room cold and no heat availabe. Restaurant crowded and not prepared.
Location is fantastic.
We stayed 2 nights. The place is worn out, we had to change roomstwice as door lock was not working, toilet wasnot flushing. Restaurant service is unhygienic.Breakfast very poor, flies on food.
great location in the middle of forest and next to the lake
poor rooms equipment
Staff were excellent. Lovely location.
Pool and sauna was only open 6pm to 8pm not all day. So we had to plan around it.
