It is a small charming hotel. Room was ok and sauna as well. Breakfast was quite good and also the dinner we had there. It is a hotel to stay in it, as it is in the countryside and you have the sauna and the swiming pool. We went after a long trip from Frankfurt and after visiting Quedlinburg. Perfect for that stop!
English-speaking staff is scarce, even at the reception. Water at the swimming pool was too cold, only to take a bath after the sauna session.
The hotel is in the countryside. The staff is very friendly and professional. In the restaurant they try to fulfill almost every special request and they have a heart for children. Impress was the rich breakfast buffet which offers a large selection and very good quality
At check-in we were informed, that the heating and hot water had failed and that repairmen were trying to fix this. Unfortunately they could not restore the hot water supply and heating. The hotel guest was then only informed about this with a small piece of paper on a stand. /As a result, the rooms cooled down and it was only possible to carry out very limited personal hygiene with very cold water. Unfortunately, the hotel made no attempt to compensate. Rather, the full price was calculated when serving. At this point at the latest, a hotel in this category should have acted differently. Only after a letter from home the hotel make an appropriate offer of compensation.
