Pros +
- Spacious room, excellent breakfast, quiet neighbourhood, welcoming staff.
- Very nice and comfortable hotel. Nice swimming pool. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Helpful services. Bad Elster is a beautiful town. Both the hotel and the town are worth visiting again.
- The hotel restaurant for a la carte dinner is really good and excellent value. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with nice service. Was offered a table in that restaurant for breakfast on 2nd day and it is very much nicer than the main service space. Room was very spacious and comfortable.
Cons -
- To have to pay for a parking lot, which is 5min away. Town centre not in walking distance, but shuttle also to pay for. Quite expensive.
- Not so easy to arrive by car. Lots of steps from front road parking area. There is some parking for drop off at the back but I didn't see signs there, and it was packed and difficult to turn around when I used it. The hotel has many guests on half board packages with numbered dining tables. System wasn't clear to me for breakfast on Day 1 but the offer to breakfast in restaurant room on Day 2 was very optimal alternative
