We love staying here. This is our third visit and everything was exceptional; our room, the food, atmosphere and hospitality. Plus the best beer in Germany in Aying.
The staff and breakfast was great. The room was very pretty .
No coffee pot in the room and no air-conditioning. The room a little small.
Quaint town with an amazing restaurant, close to the train. Exceptional dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff.
The setting was idyllic. The property had beautiful grounds and an old bowling alley. The town had two great restaurants. One by the train station and one right by the hotel. Both had excellent food. My room was spacious and had the perfect siting chairs to relax in. The hotel is quiet so after a long day of tourist things it was welcoming. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with many options with great service. Only a short train ride back to Munich.
Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was outstanding and both restaurants were wonderful! We are already making plans to visit again.
Not a thing!
All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was homey and comfortable. Breakfasts were second to none.
Had a great stay. Hotel beautiful, as was our room. Staff very friendly and kind. Wonderful sitting outdoors in their Biergarten. Food delicious! Plan to return!
Nothing; great stay!
The restaurant is wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner, both were amazing. The service is attentive and the staff is knowledgeable. The beer garden across the street is great on a warm, sunny day. Our room was comfortable.
Staff, overall set up, breakfast outstanding and a la carte
This is my third visit here for vacation, and we absolutely adore the staff and the beautiful hotel. The details make for the most special experience, and room 30 will go down as my favorite of all time.
The damn church bells tolling for NINE MINUTES AT 6 AM ON THE WEEKEND! This particular weekend was for a very good reason (Veterans Day!! Love veterans!), however, 6am for 9 minutes with canon blasts seems a bit excessive. As a veteran myself, I’m all for honoring these special people, but maybe at a more reasonable hour :-)
Very clean, staff and service excellence. Breakfast is so good, we enjoyed very much
Its location a bit far from Munich. The good thing is only take one train to bring you to downtown.
Food is excellent. They have a Michelin green leaf for exceptional farm to table food. Their restaurant is fine dining and the breakfast takes place in the same restaurant and has quality charcuterie, sausages, eggs, cheese and yogurt and baked goods. They offer you generous servings to try everything they have to offer.Room has a wood floor, is in good clean condition with smart storage cabinets.there is a good selection of pillows. Two bottles of their beer and a bottle of their brand sparkling water used for their brewing are included each night and they also had apples to take in the hall. The location is quiet in an agricultural suburb of Munich. Their renowned beer garden/pub is just across the street. The town also has a Porsche mechanic shop so you will see rare Porsches drive by.Reception is open 7am-11pm to handle any requests for example storing my baby’s milk in the kitchen fridge.
Bed was on the soft side.It is a bit of a trek to get to Munich and to buy groceries.
Fantastic location. Beautiful area to walk through landscape. Quite and green. Very friendly hotel personal, amazing breakfast and the rooms are spacious with a lot of authentic details and history of the family who built the hotel 140+ years ago.
This is an interesting hotel connected to its own brewery. It provides good insight into a slice of German culture. The beer garden is busy and fun, the building is old and nicely furnished, the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are classy and good value.
You do have to be prepared for the beer garden noise and church bells, but that is all part of the charm.
Staff and food were excellent. They were so hospitable and professional.
No AC is available.
The hotel is really lovely and traditionally decorated. It has that welcoming effect straight from the entrance that makes you feel really good! There is also a little shop for home made souvenirs and you find their own beer in the room! We couldn’t try the restaurant sadly, but breakfast was amazing and the staff really lovely!
Nothing!
Good food, very frendly staf, comfortable beds
Cosy, wonderful location, Great breakfast, top Beer, nature around the corner
Thin Walls
Great breakfast, excellent restaurant....OMG we wanted to kidnap the chef and take him home. My wife really loved the pillows and I loved the beer. Fantastic.
