Pros +
- We had a relaxing night during our trip through the South of France. Nice clean rooms, quiet surroundings (when the wind blows the right direction, if not you can hear a quiet noise from the street , though far away). Great breakfast with everything you need. We guess there's much more to experience during the season, but we loved it the calm way.
- The (official) access road to La Villa Vicha can make you doubt if you made the right decision to book at this location. The road is super narrow with only a few passing points, it is filled with thousands of potholes and you cannot trust your navigation to find this road in the first place as the second access road is not usable except if you have travelled by farming tractor. But when you enter the grounds you forget about that access road and you are greeted by a beautiful, charming and very nice location. Nicely landscaped with little chalets spread across the wooded area. The main building house the restaurant (and I guess, the rooms). An attractive pool area, tennis courts and a wellness area for private use. A little stable with a couple of horses makes the setting perfect. The staff is friendly and really wants you to feel at home. We booked a suite but I think they gave us the chalet as we stayed a couple days in a fine and cosy little chalet with a small sitting room, a small bedroom with a large bed (both with its own airco unit) and a very nice and rather large bathroom. The bed was very comfy and it is super quiet during the night. We slept really well. Breakfast is not exuberant but fits perfectly within the concept of the location. Good bread, “fromage” and “charcuterie”, dairy products and so on. The nice lady serving us made pancakes. We dined at the restaurant which was a tasteful and nice experience. The chef is making some wonderful food together with drinks from the (separate) bar. The bar is located adjacent to the restaurant and gives off a beach club feeling with home made cocktails and mocktails. At first glance it looks somewhat out of place but after sunset and with more guests coming in, it had a wonderful and nice vibe.In all, although we only stayed here for a couple of days, we are definitely coming back.
- beautiful surroundings. Fine dining dinner. Dog friendly.
Cons -
- In the comments, people mention that WiFi is not working or that rooms are old and need a refurbishment. Our chalet was in perfect condition but we cannot judge for other chalets. We did not use the WiFi as 5G from Orange was available and worked perfectly (gave us 40-50 Mbit/s).However, we could not use the advertised EV charging station (tried several different EV charging cards) and the method using the QR code on the device was not working. It was not a very common (in my experience) charging station so this is something they might want to take a look at (we mentioned it to the staff) as there are no other charging stations nearby.
- Wi Fi reception in and around the cabinets very poor
- The chalet we were offered as a 2-bedroom chalet, was really 2 adjoining rooms and so was really just like being in 1 small room. This was a little deceptively portrayed in the description in my opinion. The restaurant should offer more variety and alternatives. Breakfast was expensive for a very limited offering. Not enough shade around the pool and the garden around the chalets needs a lot of work to make it more bearable in the summer months.

beautiful surroundings. Fine dining dinner. Dog friendly.
Location superb. Breakfast extremely expensive not good value. Restaurant food excellent quality but choice too limited same menu every evening.
Wi Fi reception in and around the cabinets very poor
Nice quiet location with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good but lacked variety of food, particularly at night. The chalets are well set out and private.

Friendly staff (Reservation & breakfast). Small bungalows in the green. The possibility to park in front of the PMR room (wheeling chair) was good since most of the ways in the park are not so practical.
Electricity breakdown for several hours as we arrived in the region. Layout and finishing of our second bungalow (small bedroom with only one night table, defect support for bath towel, defect joints around the bathtub so that it was always full of water around...) A bit more love and attention to details would make that place really nice...
2 separate rooms, kitchenette , tennis courts, peacefulness
According to the website we could have expected a decent WIFI in the rooms , but unfortunately we had virtually no reception. For us this was a major set back.
Exceptionally quiet, out of the way location, good size chalet with good kitchen and equipment. Horses on site were nice.
My sat nav and Google maps both tried to take us down a farm dirt track to get to the hotel. Directions or a warning sent through in advance would have been helpful as we struggled to find it initially. This may have been due to our direction of approach to the hotel
Very nice and quiet location with drive to bungalows. Even in January very warm and confy. Good restaurant, nice french cuisine.
Breakfast.
very friendly staff, quite environment, good breakfast
technical support inside of the bungalows is poor. Most of things are shaking or should be repaired. example: 1 out of 4 lamps in bathroom are working. in a short: it needs renovation.
The quality of the restaurant is high, and certainly value for money. Also, the chalets really are living up to the promise of being silence’.
I would have given it an 10/10 if not for the wifi, which was not available in the rooms (the chalets), this was not a temporarily situation as staff claimed not to be able to fix it, and this had been the case for several months. In this price range, and when advertised, a stable Wifi is something I expect to be in working order.
In the middle of forest, so peaceful and relaxed place, kids friendly. Very nice pool and restaurant on side. Nice region for visits. Look forward to come back!
Great cottages, good standard without being luxurious. Fantastic garden, lounge area, pool, tennis courts, makes your stay really nice, great standards on all for what you pay. Nice and friendly staff.
Very poor
We went to leave at 4am and were locked in, we were not given a code to get out of the gate!!! No one was there to help and they knew we were leaving then. I were hours waiting for some one to come to let us out finally the garage truck came vet dangerous that you can not get out!
Amazing restaurant, sensational food and service, easily the best meal I have had in France, couldn’t recommend more highly…
