Höckner Plaza Hotel

The location is only a few minutes walk from the train station which was ideal for me. I got upgraded to a very kitsch cool suite - who doesn't like a canopy bed with a crown at the top! Very comfortable bed and good hot and strong shower. Breakfast was on par with standard Austrian hotel breakfasts. I would definitely stay here again.

Service was a bit slow at dinner but it was low season and there was only one woman waiting tables.

The breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet while the windows faced to the street and the train station, but the noise isolation was good. The interior design was very interesting.

Staff was excellent, they made us feel at home. Comfortable beds.

I didn't like that the room had dead animals in the walls and decoration/lamps with reindeer antlers...it was a bit disturbing for me and my family.

Windows in room are closed with a lock and can’t be opened.The nicely announced spa bathtub didn’t work correctly and flooded the whole bathroom… messed up combo when you can’t open the window

The staff are very welcoming and we can enjoy free tea and coffee on the ground floor. In the hot summer, the room has air conditioning, which is great.

The room was fine and the bathroom was great. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was sufficient (I only missed some scrambled eggs or a kind of warm buffet).

The hotel is located next to a main street and a railway statuon, so it was quite noisy.

The apartment was clean and well equiped. The staff is nice and friendly.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was quite good and portions very generous, the garden is also very nice...

Although the room was spacious and luminous and looked quite comfortable, there were a couple of things that were not ok: a blind that can't be pulled all the way down, a broken scale, a frayed towel, etc. These things should be easy to repair! Impossible to open the windows at nighttime due to the traffic on the road next to the hotel, which forces you to use the air-conditioning (but this is not the hotel's fault; it is really us who are a bit weary of air-conditioning)

One of the weirdest hotels that I've been to. I don't necessarily mean it as something negative, it's just "special" - as if someone had won the lottery and made his dream hotel ...but then ran out of money. It's a very eclectic combination of things. My room was spacious, and I had a good night sleep.

It's right next to the train station, if you have a problem with the noise of passing trains (I don't) you may want to reconsider. Breakfast was terrible.

The price for this apartement was good compared to other acoomondations in that locality. The hotel is very near of a railway station, but it was not very disturbing. We even did not notice the trains during night. The stuff was fine.

The biggest "surprise" was the urinal located in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small and the urinal was located just next to the bath. Very unfortunate solution. Also we had an aparmetement with kitchen, but there was no equipement like dish sponge, dish soap, there was also dishwasher, but without tabs. The apartement has 3 rooms with 5 different types of floor. Also the apartement can be used as two separater rooms with common kitchen (so two entry doors for rooms and one common entry door for apartment entry). But there are door locks with card access on each room. When you close the door, you have to use the card to open them - and you are still inside the apartment. The overall impression of the apartment was not pleasant. Breakfast were also very poor.

What's not to like? This hotel has such a beautiful personality. I an so tired of chain hotels (ho hum) and individually owned hotels that model themselves after chain hotels. Yes, chain hotels have their place, but unique gems like this one do, too! It's fantastic! And so are its staff. Love, love, love it!

Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious from the menu in dinner time. The restaurant garden is beautiful. The breakfast was really good as well. I definitely reccomend. Family friendly.

Very nicely furnished, clean, and spacious room with above-standard equipment. Good breakfast with some vegetables and fruit.

Just one little problem, it is not possible to open windows. After using the hot tub, the room became humid, which we had to address by turning on the air conditioning to dry the air.

Basically everything. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The property had a very nice elegant touch to the finishings - very rare for the price. The staff arranged for a larger suite without costs as my child’s accommodation was not clarified earlier.The breakfast and dinner were good too. There’s a garden restaurant and also an in house Wintergarten to sit at. The loving staff even packed a croissant for my child for the way. There’s ample safe private parking behind the hotel building.

The noise from the train station to some extent which mostly gone after we closed the window.

The hotel is clean, has a parking lot in front, nice garden and simple but good breakfast.

The bed in our room has a wooden frame that you can hit your feet and hands into if you are a taller person. Our room didn't have the door to the bathroom.

The staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean, although it has long since passed its glory.Dinner from the menu was very tasty.

We booked and paid for a superior room, but were accommodated in a standard room.They forgot to add a towel to the extra bed.Room 101 is very noisy even with the windows closed (train, road), but that was to be expected given the location of the hotel.The bed creaked terribly, really terribly with every turn.The buffet breakfast was more modest, but that's probably due to the currently small number of guests.

The property was very neat & clean and near to train station. This is one of the hotel which I liked during my Europe Trip. The facilities provided by the hotel were fantastic in the price range for which I have booked it. They have Steam & Sauna, Gym, Bar and Restaurant. The room and bathroom were very spacious. I would like to stay in this hotel during my next Europe Trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room is spacious and clean.

No lift I must have overlook this otherwise will opt for other place that has lift.The stairs light is not switch if you afraid of dark of dark avoid this hotel.The toilet has weird lighting too.
