    Pros +

    • Very friendly Staff, communication in English was no problem.Big room in a quiet environment. Access to the pool at all times.Big Jacuzzi in the room (Zen Room) with very warm water. The bed was very comfortable and the room overall was clean. We only stayed for one night on a business trip.
    • Not much to say except that the place was perfect. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the room (Taj Mahal) exceeded our expectations. We arrived late and were exhausted, and were offered to get dinner, which was wonderful, delivered to our room.
    • I liked the original déco of the hotel. The "home-cooked" thaï dinner was excellent and the breakfast good. The downstairs pool was really nice. The beds very very comfortable, we all slept well. The pool table was also a nice surprise.

    Cons -

    • Unfortunately there is an unpleasant smell in the room, especially from the toilet room. Manageable by opening the windows but the toilet keeps smelling moldy. There was some material left in the Jacuzzi (looked like sand). Also there is an air dehumidifier running at all times which makes noises, it did not annoy us but if you are sensitive you might want to book a room without a Jacuzzi.A lot of small building imperfections like paint scuffs in the room.Breakfast time on our stay was from 9-11am which is quite late for a business trip so we couldn't try the breakfast there.TV did not really work.
    • The only problem was finding the place - the sign on the road is easy to miss, and we did not realize that the grounds would be closed with a gate and that we would need a code to get in.
    • There was a problem with the lighting of the pool the night of our arrival, as only a blinking light was switched on, stopping at regular intervals which means we had to walk around the pool in pitch black. However, it turned out the main light had all simply been forgotten, so this is ok. It would have been nice to have an electric outlet in the bathroom.
