Pros +
- Good resto and staff
- It’s a lovely place even in the winter when there’s a lot less to do. The rooms are neat, the showers splendid and we kinda abused that. The sleeping super comfy. The toiletries high quality and same as spa.
- need to be more vigilent about the service
Cons -
- Excessive charges - for 15 minutes in Spa 95 Euros plus having to pay for parking on top? It’s a joke
- A couple of nits: the room had inclined ceiling (last floor) and it was easy to bang the head - they could have made the edge round! The breakfast was a bit expensive at $27 - I was sick and only had a croissant coffee and slice of bread and jam. That said, they put a terrific spread with many options and if you come with appetite it must be a terrific breakfast!!!
- Personally, the bed was not confortable for my husband and I. The service is not a 4 stars service. they need a huge training for me. They didn’t indicate you anything. Ex : there is a tea time but you need to order 48h before (which is a lot) but if you don’t know about it you cannot have it. Also you don’t have access to the spa (pool / hammam / sauna) or by reservation if you don’t have a reservation. I called for a diner reservation. instead they reserved two sessions of Spa. There is a parking of the hotel. but they don’t explain you that you have to paid it when you arrive. You know at the end when you left.

Great room and great breakfast. Also walking around the lake is very nice. Personnel were very nice.
The room we were in wasa lovely.. (200). The decor was peaceful and so well done. The location near the ponds and the path in front of the Corot house is wonderful.
Our food (dinner one night) was not quite up to Parisian standards, we didnt' think. We were sorry the other restaurant wasn't open the nights we were there. We have had a wonderful experience in the Michelin star restaurant.
Calm and pleasant location near the ponds and forest, classic architecture, excellent food and engaging original art.
It seemed that spa-linked facilities were not available during the weekend without a treatment.
The staff were very accomodating, the decor was super as well as the level of comfort and amenities
Beautiful property and nice decor.
We sat down in the area overlooking the lake for a drink, no one served us or the other couples for at least 30 minutes. We were one of four couples waiting. The French couple next to us attempted to get service and after multiple requests a waiter came along to give us a menu. He was not seen again. Not a great start to an evening.Breakfast was nice but felt expensive for what it was.
Breakfast was phenomenal, room was super stylish and the staff were lovely - such a great surprise of a hotel for us, having booked it without checking any details when our Eurostar train was cancelled. Made us feel very good after a previously stressful evening!
The staff were lovely, rooms very comfortable and super good beds. The shopping and restaurants were only a short 10 minute walk away.
The breakfast was limited considering the level of hotel and the price.
Room was good. Hotel loby did not have aircon and it was hot.
Service was slow, especially at the terrace lounge overlooking the lake.
The style of the hotel is truly exceptional. Nestling in a the natural surroundings of the lakes where Corot used to paint the integration is stylish and harmonious. A very exceptional setting for a personal stay.
The dark blue decor of my room, whilst not an issue for me, could be a factor of claustrophobia in certain people of a sensitive disposition.
Great location especially if you want to be in nature My main reason for the visit was to show my mum Chateau de Versailles but not stay in Versailles this place is the perfect in between. The Etang forest is just next to the hotel you can do your morning run in the forest and chill by the pond as you wish. We even walked over to Versailles its just less than 5km - Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff was lovely. Highly recommend for a chill weekend get away
Spa is really expensive and there is no discount for hotel guests which was odd to me
I booked for my wife and daughter and they absolutely loved it. They want to come back soon. The staff sang happy birthday for my daughter which she loved.

The spa was in a nice setting and very clean. The hallways and restaurant area were very nice.
The room overlooking the road made it less than intimate since it sounded like being in a motel off the highway with the traffic. Also, for a four star hotel relais châteaux one would expect bathrobes and/or slippers to enhance overall comfort in the room.

Relaxed atmosphere, excellent customer oriented staff.
Dark rooms & we were unable to get a late checkout.
I really liked it it’s very comfortable, and a beautiful place
The spa is only accessible during the weekend ifYou book a treatment and they were fully booked, they did let us use it for an hour on the Sunday which was nice but it’s advertised as a spa hotel so it’s not ideal. Also the gastronomic restaurant was closed when we were there I think there is a gap between the website and the reality
