- The location was good and peaceful.
- As a service that takes away adults with disabilities, it's important for us to have great accommodation and staff.Earl (The Owner) and George (the caretaker) were so helpful and hospitable - going above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed and were comfortable. The property was fantastic and they even set us up with a Zoo experience with their friends. Our staff could not speak higher of the place when they returned home.We will definately go back - thanks Earl and George for a great weekend away.
- Location great. Views awesome. privacy great. nice & quiet!
Cons -
- 1) There was a confusion about pet cleaning fee. The FAQ and booking confirmation message noted the fee is $25 per dog/per night however in fact it was $35. This amount was not updated on their property description nor on anywhere on their website. So I had to pay extra $140 for my two dogs. I was only aware of this once the booking has been made (and I wasn’t able to cancel nor amend and just pay extra $140). 2) The property manager asked me to send my photo ID to his personal phone number as there is no one who can check the ID at the time of check in. However, when we checked in I met the property manager and other employees who seem to be working. I felt it was unnecessary and risky to send the picture of Photo ID to someone’s phone number. However he reassured this photo will be deleted from his home one day after the check out.3) When we arrived at the allocated chalet, there was different guests unpacked their stuff in our allocated chalet. The property manager got confused and gave incorrect information to the other guests, and they ended up checking in to our chalet and we had to wait for those guest to vacate the room. Although the manager reassured these guests just arrived, it felt like they’ve already used toilet etc.4) Not sure if they are using the rain water, the water from the bath tub was yellow.
- Not what I didn't like. More about what could have made it even better! (I'm a small business owner so notice details & processes)- I think the pre check-in automations need a review/ shorten/ update: the rules seemed a bit onerous/ repetitive and hard to keep track of - (I went into info overload). feedback request message came the day before I checked out. - A sensor light next to key lockers would help. - I ran out of hot water/gas on the second night whilst filling the spa. Lucky I had a hot one the night before -maybe this is why:)
- We couldn’t use the spa bath as the water was brown therefore we didn’t use the shower or drink the water either. The pool was also green so we didn’t swim in that either. We also couldn’t check in for an hour after our scheduled arrival.

Such an incredibly comfortable and beautiful stay. The scenery was breathtaking. Our family had the best stay and will be back! Special mention to George and his partner who are the property managers. So friendly, communicative and available to us. Our family hit a deer 10 mins down the road and they came to the rescue without hesitation! You won’t regret your stay here!
The cabin was very clean and the views were amazing.

Chalet excellent spacious well equipped.Very large bathroom spa bath.Instant hot water.Magnificent views from big deck.Top range BBQ spotless.Staff extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for you.Absolutely top quality people.
Television coverage.Very limited chanels
Beautiful location, great views, and neat and clean cottage. Fantastic customer service too, very helpful and friendly owners.
Nil.
Views are amazing close to other towns & private even though other accommodations on the property
Ad advertised. The 3BR cottage we stayed in (and inclusions) is clean. It is a very good base to various tourist spots.Liked the summit walk, summit has a pretty view of the inlet. We saw kangaroos parading on the ground, popped by the livestocks pen (alpaca, sheep etc.). Missed the wombats, maybe next time.Earl has been great, very easy to contact and attentive.
None. A few might comment about some sections of the cottage being old but for us it adds to its charm. It is clean most importantly and upgraded where required.
Easy access, good facilities and very happy & friendly staff
Newly renovated. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quality linen and comfy bed. Beautiful views. Quiet and serene. Coonara fireplace and wood & fire starters provided - great touch! Loved chatting to the llamas and goats, and feeding a visiting rosella on the deck. Great communication w owner, contactless check in was a breeze.
It was all perfect! The only misgiving was that there was no hairdryer, but that was really neither here nor there.
Open space.
Properties are run down and in need of updating. Had no water to the cabin on the first night to afternoon next day which was really annoying given we paid $300p/nite. Temperature Wasn’t cold enough to burst pipes. No manager or reception staff on site.
Nice view and facility
Bathtub water need more clean
The location is beautiful
The property is out dated. Roads into the property were not maintained. The cottage we were staying in initially had plumbing issues. We were offered an alternate cottage which also seemed to have a similar issue initially and then a day later it was sorted. The wifi connection was poor and could do with upgrading in the property. Also the outdoor activities were not maintained.
Remote, quiet, peaceful, good pool
Dirty bbq,
Location
Toilet didn’t flush, No phone service & wifi very sketchy, dated decor, rooms were very musty had not been aired, no tv reception, driveway had deep ruts, lucky for us we had 4WD but if you didn’t bad luck, mice in walls when lights went out, dirty water came out of the taps, overall very disappointed we pulled the pin early and left after one night
Quiet place with lovely views for a relaxing getaway
Tv outdated
Amazing location for a relaxing time with family and friends, it has beautiful views of Lake Eildon and a lot of open spaces for a peaceful walk or fun and games with children.
The rooms look quite dated and need some TLC to be comfortable, but considering the recent rains the approach road and its washed out condition is still acceptable.
Cottages were clean and spacious with a good size decking, the location of the property was amazing.
Cottages were a bit dated inside, the beds seemed old with the one that we had sagged into the middle, the driveway and deep ruts from being washed away by the rain
Well maintained and quality accommodation close the Howqua Hills. Nice goats.
Spa bath was bit tricky to get going.
