    Pros +

    • Super clean, good sized room, very good bed, good bathroom, excellent breakfast (everything is freshly prepared), nice restaurant at the location. This was the second time I stayed here, and it will be the place to stay whenever I visit family in the area.
    • Once you find your way around the hotel (it’s a real rabbit warren) you’ll find everything you need. The bike storage room was fantastic with good security and charging points for e-bikes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. But the highlight of our stay was the seasonal menu in the dining room (asparagus and wild garlic were in season) and the local honey and bread at breakfast. The dining room menu lists the local suppliers and we loved this idea.
    • Amazing one night stay. The restaurant of the hotel is absolutely top (great season menu and all, great level while we would have been happy with a good pub). The rooms are very clean and modern ! Breakfast is great with fresh local products and excellent quality and wide choice.

    Cons -

    • We loved everything about it!
    • A bit loudy in the evening as there was a band playing in the atrium.
    • That I couldn’t stay longer!

Brilliant stay in a quiet part of the town. Delicious food and staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Rooms are large and well-equipped. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with everything you could want and a powerful shower. Breakfast was exceptional - a wide variety of food and beverages to suit all tastes served in a beautiful atrium.

Everything about the Hotel was wonderful. We loved the room, the beds were very nice, the bathroom was exceptional, warm and peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had a lot to choose from. Good quality food also in the restaurant were we had dinner. The service was first class, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Very hospitable and family type atmosphere throughout. The location was perfect, with shops in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely stay there again.

    We loved everything about it!

Nice clean hotel, very good breakfast.

A bit loudy in the evening as there was a band playing in the atrium.

I love that it’s a 7th generation hotel. I was in Zeven to discover my ancestry & meet family I never knew I had. It warms me to know that the original owners almost certainly knew my family.

    That I couldn’t stay longer!

The hotel is beautiful, clean and very spacious, the staff is super friendly I ate at the hotel's restaurant and becouse of the language barrier I didn't know what to order the employees too the time to explain and subjest for my dinner. I am very pleased with the service

Beautiful big superior chambres, got a free upgrade so the kids could stay next door, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, restaurants nearby and close to the freeway..

Breakfast was really good, no complaints. The rooms were amazingly clean and the staff were also friendly and helpful. If I had to stay in Zeven again I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very nice. The room was big and we could park our car without any additional fees. We liked the decoration that told the story of the hotel and its surroundings.

The staff was incredibly friendly. I was part of a cycling event and they accommodated a few participants and our bikes with ease. Breakfast in the morning was also good. The room was big.

The hotel looks a bit outdated, but it's not really a problem

    9PaulPosted on: 7-1-2023

They accomodated bicycle storage in one of their meeting rooms. Dinner and breakfast good. Walkable to the city center.

great central location in a small town with parking

    10JamesPosted on: 5-1-2023

Excellent and friendly service. I drove in and immediately had help with my bags. Room was large with plugs everywhere. Desk was large enough to easily work. Staff even brought a pitcher up to the room while I worked and allowed me to bring some of my breakfast up because I had a call coming in. Meals were excellent. Even had a queen size bed. Bathroom large with excellent shower and a lot of toiletries often not found in rooms anymore. Prices very reasonable. TV had an English news station. I will return.

    10AndreasPosted on: 4-9-2023

Being a small town hotel, this place far exceeded my expectations. Everything is modern and very clean and practical. The breakfast room is designed like an Italian plaza - very impressive. The breakfast buffet is the very best German breakfast I can think of, with ham & eggs added for a light American touch. Parking is obviously easy, and the also runs a nice pub/restaurant. Like I said, beyond expectations.

    10BaibaPosted on: 8-28-2022

Calm surroundings, quiet and clean room, comfortable bed, fabulous food at the restaurant, great service. Perfect stop where to recharge between 2 days on autobahn.

    9MickPosted on: 8-28-2022

Nice tidy and clean hotel. Staff helpful. Very quiet room with comfy bed. Good German food in the restaurant. Nice little town.

The breakfast was not overwhelming. Good and adequate but I have had better. Open jar of honey had a wasp drowning in it.
