Scicli Albergo Diffuso

Absolutely beautiful building. Marble floors, classy decor and efficient air conditioning. The whole building from the front door to the rooms were all impeccably clean and comfortable. Bed linens are high quality and beds are very comfortable. Access to a kitchen for un po vino or caffe’ was a highlight. The manager was so kind and helpful, even though we had confused the location to meet. We will definitely return to stay here in this beautiful apartment.

The location was great. The room was very large (although sterile looking)... very clean. Elevator to the upper floor was a plus. Hot water and water pressure was good.

I seldom write a negative review, but this "arancia" room could have been lovely with a bit of work. There is no coffee maker in the room, you must go one floor down to the communal kitchen and that coffee maker stopped working the second day. The room is very large, but has absolutely no character... beige walls and a brown couch but no decorative touches at all. There is plenty of room for a table and chairs or a coffee table but it's just a large open space. There is a large room off the bathroom that's empty... strange. The terrace would be great except all the plants were dead and pigeons were roosting in the eaves...the cleaning people try to keep up with the pigeon poop, but it is very off-putting. The bed was not comfortable. There was quite a bit of chipped paint (from mold) around the shower... needs touching up. All in all, I chose the wrong room on booking I guess...the photos are lovely online but the reality was disappointing. Just a bit of work and thought put in to this room would give it a much higher rating. To be fair, this was one of the least expensive places we stayed over our six weeks in Italy...

Close to centre , great location , opposite the most beautiful church , and next to an excellent Resturant LaGrotta, food amazing !!

Our room had a great inner balcony with an orange and a lemon tree in the garden below and a few of the church dome. We also loved the town of Scicli. It was not as crowed as some of the other more touristy place and yet was a beautiful setting, had some great restaurants (which were all open in March unlike other places). The town parking was also very inexpensive, conveniently located and easy to use.

Beautiful, spacious room with free access to a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. Easy to drive to and plenty of parking right in front of the room. Excellent communication with the property and great service. Scicli is a lovely, lively and authentic.

Large room. Everything very clean. Central location.Very friendly staff.Excellent breakfast for a very reasonable price. Parking close to the accomodation for 0,80 Euro /hour. You pay only 9 - 13 and 16 - 19 . The other times it is free of charge.

Very quiet, with a lot of character in an old building nicely renovated. We even had a piano in the room! Breakfast was at a nearby facility and was truly good—varied and with many typical specialties.

Cars driving over the metal drain covers make a loud noise that is intrusive. Not the property owners fault!

Be aware, they have 30 rooms, show the best pictures with fancy rooms, at arrival you don’t have what you had paid for. Staff very nice to propose alternative options. With extra fees we’ve been able to have a better accommodation, we were travelling off season

Location was excellent

Parking was very difficult, even paid parking very hard to find.

After 2 nights in an unsuitable apartment an alternative became available which was delightful and easily accessible. The people running the Albergo were so helpful and carried our bags up and down the steps for us to the first apartment and in the transfer to the second.

The first Superior Apartment we were offered did not have all the features described on the Booking.com website. It was accessed via a large number of stone steps which were a considerable challenge for us as we were all over 70. For the first 2 out of our 6 nights the Albergo was full so nothing could be done.

An amazing room and large space in beautiful central building - a true experience. Also a lovely town

The room was huge, renovated to a modern standard with excellent facilities. Very central ona quite street with ample parking! Our stay was absolutely fantastic.
