B&B Hotel Aachen Würselen

The out of hours check in process was smooth. The access code was emailed to us in a timely fashion. The room was perfect for a family for an overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable. We did not meet any staff, but the commication prior to arrival was clear and polite. We would definitely stay again.

Location

Staff entered my room while I was still sleeping and didn’t check out. Then when I went out and came back I couldn’t get in with a code so the receptionist had to open it. I asked what was the problem and she said it is almost check out time but I still had like 2 hours left. Also I didn’t know there is a charge for parking. If I knew I would have chosen different accommodation. Also the price for that BB is too much for what you get. There is not even a kettle for a hot drink. and expensive breakfast menu

Check in was a bit longwinded after hours, the bathroom was freezing with no heat source.

Room clean and comfortable

Inability to contact anyone who could help when there was a problem trying to access our room. Even the emergency telephone provided for such scenarios was not answered.

Next to aachen. The room with a mezzanine for kids is great.

The location was easy to find and rooms where clean and tidy. We used it for 1 night as we were in transit and it was conveniently positioned, nearby the motorway.

The self-check-in component where I was charged twice, once from my booking.com wallet as well upon check-in when it comes to the room cost. Upon check-in, I should have paid only for the parking and pet as accomodation was covered at booking. I had my money refunded, but instead of them refunding only the accomodation, they gave me a full refund, so I ended up with an extra task during my holiday to pay for the parking and the pet. The system should be improved.

We visited the Christmas markets at Aachen and we wanted to stay out of the centre due to travel the next morning. This was a non expensive alternative for a short stay. So perfect for our needs

The beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom is small but comfy. They offer towels, soap-shampoo and a hairdryer. The curtains are blackout, which is really nice.

Parking for hotel customers is 5€, even though it's the hotel's own parking.

Easy check in as I was arriving past 23:00, just entered the code in the door lock and got in my room hassle free!

Easy motorway access for a stop over, clean and safe.

Parking fee. Don't mind in the city, but not on a business park

Good price. large and clean room. There is a ladder in the room, and it was very enjoyable for the kids.

Car parking is 5 euros per night. It can be free for the guests.

Good parking right outside the hotel, well designed space in the family room with two beds on a mezzanine level and two below.

Room was dusty with worn carpets, stained curtains and a very small bathroom. No kettle or facilities to make drinks in the room. Close to a busy intersection so some traffic noise. Definitely not a place to stop for any length of time but fine for a quick overnight stay en route elsewhere.

Comfortable

The relatively new 5-euro parking charge doesn’t seem justified. I’ve stayed at this B&B a large number of times for some 20 years without having to pay for parking. I also regularly (several times a year) stay in B&B hotels across France and Germany and Czechia, and no other B&B hotel I’ve been in - Köln, Mannheim, Konstanz, Rouen, Ludwigshafen, Rennes, Strasbourg, St Quentin, Colmar, Metz, Prague - to name but a few- charges extra for parking.

Property has a safe parking area.

Hotel reception desk close at 22:00 o'clock. there was no trash can in the room. Bathroom was very small.
