Wertheimer Stuben

It was easy to find and centrally located. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful! And the breakfast was great. We highly recommend this property!

Even people in the local tourist information place located right next door more or less to your hotel could not accurately tell me where you were located when I enquired there , after arriving in Werthiem. OF COURSE you are in " an obvious place " but I was told to go somewhere else. THAT "other place " nearby in Altstadt, had a staff member who became angry when I showed up with my friend, thinking I was there instead. ( We had " wasted his precious time " unquote, as he saw my reservation was not there. Maybe you should tell the people at that Tourist info place where you are..... I got to sit across from that idiot from the other hotel ( not yours! ) at your Asian fusion restaurant the next night, staring at him long enough that he left, BTW. Werthiem is way too small to be abusing possible future customers!

We were meeting up with a German friend of ours (Birgit) that had lived in St Petersburg, Florida. Stayed at the Wertheimer Stuben because it was very central. Steps from town centre. A bonus for us was that the hotel had a new elevator. Parking at the city underground garage cost only 10 euro for 2.5 days (weekend basically). Reunification parade on Saturday was a nice bonus even though it was raining. Rain did not dampen the atmosphere. Good drink and food at Zum Ochsen. All in all Wertheim was a great visit. Thank you. Clean, renovated, amazing breakfast

Never again!!

No way this place deserves the ratings it seems to have received. The room we got did not looks remotely as nice as the ones in the photos. We asked for a quiet room and were told that since we booked with Booking we would haven’t pay an additional 39 Euros. We kept the room they assigned us which was quite drab, overlooked a busy and very noisy street, and had a poorly functioning fan. This hotel Is certainly not a 4 star hotel anymore than a McDonalds is a Michelin star restaurant.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very pleasant and comfortable, with a nice bed and a modern bathroom. Drinking water was in the room--always nice to have after having been on the road. The location is superb in the small town of Wertheim. I had a very good night's sleep. The beakfast was outstanding in a very pleasant and nicely decorated breakfast room.

When I arrived around 1 p.m. I was surprised to see that the front door was locked and that there was no one at the reception. I had received emails from the hotel (probably about checking in) which I had not read as I was on the road all morning. However, instructions were posted by the entrance which were clear and easy to follow. They did, however, require a working telephone, which I thankfully had with me (even though a U.S. phone). Someone answered the phone immediately and walked me through the process of accessing the needed key to unlock front doort and getting into my room. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Andrea was excellent. Room and bathroom were quite spacious!

Excellent breakfast, great variety of things, room really attractive, cool and relaxing to sit in. Staff wonderful, really helpful with a problem we had with our car. Excellent lifts, helpfulness with parking etc. Bed very comfortable, room clean, helpful lift etc.

We had a room out the front which unfortunately was very noisy and with the sun shining in until after 9pm and no air conditioning it was so so hot!

Walking distance to the town center. Rooms are clean and big enough for 2. Spacious bathroom. Good wifi. Good breakfast selection ( German style).

No parking place. Reception desk is most of the time no occupied. No aircon in the room

I highly recommend Wertheimer Stuben if you are planning a trip to Wertheim. Check-in was quick and easy. And, since our room was ready they allowed early check-in at no additional charge. The staff were all incredible and willing to help with anything. They even provided us extra plug adapters during our stay. All of the front office & kitchen staff spoke excellent English. The breakfast was also excellent, and included fresh breads, fruits, cheeses, meats, juices, jams, variety of coffee choices, as well as eggs & bacon. The location was also excellent and allowed easy walks to to many shops, cafes, restaurants, and site seeing. Parking was just around the corner and very convenient at around 4 Euros/day.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Location is the center area from all shopping areas. The breakfast was varied. I like it. Room was confortable and each day cleaning was working very well. People in breakfast and main entrance was very kind.

Outside the office hours, mobile app for opening the main door was very scary because not experience of this how successful to use the app. New generation people can do it, but I am worry about old generation people how they can handle with this.

I was stationed in Wertheim as a young Soldier in the early 80’s and always loved the town and area. I stopped by for a 3 day stay and could not be more pleased with my choice to stay at the Wertheimer Stuben, a wonderful hotel with extremely pleasant staff. I will most certainly book here on my next visit!!

The breakfast was excellent. The best buffet we have been offered since South Africa. Lift was quick and room and bathroom both modern and high quality. The hotel is very central in a charming town.

A shame we had to use the city car park 150 mtrs away but unloading at the door was possible. Parking was inexpensive by UK standards.
