Hotel Valle Verde

Friendly staff, clean and value for money.

Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.

Nice room with Smart TV. Very good and delicious restaurant. Silent place outside the Grammichele and aproximately 10km from Caltagirone.

Room was clean

The room was freezing, breakfast was horrible, cappuccino milk was rancid, staff was loud.

Wall hangers to hang the shower towels are needed to let them dry for the morning. The current device is too low

Room was spacious with lovely bathroom. Separate from main building. The restaurant was cheap considering how good their pizza was.

The staff was trying but no one could speak English. Plugs next to bed were not working. Breakfast wasn’t typical, we had a few options to choose from and they brought the items to us. Woke up every morning at around 5-6 to horrible construction noises.

Location a bit remote and still under construction on outside area but the room was clean and nice (as in pictures), the personal kind, good restaurant, delightful breakfast (they are asking what do you prefer to eat) and a very good relaxing massage session provided by signora Marcela (must try it).

Room was clean and restaurant prices were very reasonable, nice little terrace at the back of the room.

There was a constant noise throughout the night above our room like a washing machine noise

Excellent in all aspects. Cannot fault the place and management/staff in any way. This place exceeded our expectations on all levels. The host Maria Teresa, is a very kind and helpful woman who made sure our needs were delivered. All the staff were charming and professional. The room was very clean and modern and above all quiet. Parking was not a problem at all. The hotel is located just on the outskirts of this smal town, allowing us to visit the centre as well as travel to Agrigento, located just a drive away. Top notch points to Valle Verde for the wonderful experience.

ok, this will be my most emotional feedback: Valle Verde is something special...in my touristic career I was accomodated more luxury and still after our stay in Valle Verde I am IMPRESSED with this place. Base staff speak only italian, that was cool actually, they really give a try to explain and pleased us anyway. Some of support staff (for evening parties) speak english. But we didnt need language. We just said we need unalcolico vegetariano food and 5 days we have been not worry. They took care about us like monarchy family. Breakfasts - georgious - they bring whatever they had in kitchen...they offered 10 kinds of food every morning:) (so keep your translator prepared:)). Pool is not really used...like its boutique hotel, during days people come for coffee in "office" outfits (and we were busy with sightseeing anyway). Twice in evenings we enjoyes typical sicilian party (when kids have 18th birthday what for a celebration!). Yes, it was music and partying till 2 am but we are on vacation so why not. Kitchen/food - EXCELLENT! I had no idea that pizza can be so good, or pasta - my gosh...people from that area came every evening to buy pizzas and other food to take it home. We tryied also granita, mixed drinks, ice cake...excellent...Room - ok, like so ok that I cant say something negative:)Valle Verde is close to very nice small Grammichelle (in caffees they will be happy to have you there as a tourist and will recommend typical sicilian food and sweets)Valle Verde is close to Taormina, Syracusy, Agrigento, Etna...and white beaches (actually on the way to Agrigento there have been maaany beaches also with free parking spaces, very nice...poetical)

this is not negative - I have nothing negative to say, but may be unexpected for me as european woman with two dogs: We´ve been exotical for them because we walk our dogs on the leash:) on sicily they have dogs living around like they dont have owners. (Valle Verde was really clean) but on south of Italy there is garbage around, like everywhere...so they looked on us like we are sick to pick up dogs poops :D and ladies, shorts are vulgar for them but the neckline can be veeeeeery low. Women prefer black dress or brown natural colours. With our summer outfits we looked colorfull like sicilian children :)

The hotel was really clean. The host was super friendly and also managed to reserve us a table for dinner at the last minute. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant on the night we arrived and the meat was to die for. The morning breakfast was also good. We asked for toast, eggs and croissants, and they accommodated our request. They have an impeccable service and value for money. When it that area, will visit again.

Maria Theresa goes out of her way to please her customers. No problem is big enough for her and she really has a flair for attending to her customers' needs. The food is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The staff is very courteous not least Mr. Mario who was always so happy and attentive to help. We really enjoyed our dinners by the pool along with other locals who patronise the restaurant. A word of praise goes also to the lady that cleaned our room. she was ever so attentive and left our room spic and span. An abundant supply of toiletries also complements one's stay.

We were only able to use the pool on the last day of our stay.
