- one night i decided to eat at the restaurant of thre hotel, so i asked fir the menu (which was only in Grerman!) ..and the first thing got my eye was the Pork Snitchel! Being in Germany, this is the place for the perfect snitchel, I thiought.... only to find out, that the snitchel was not so good after all (maybe ready / out of the bag meal)...

Everything was perfect. Even when a family member took bad the staff had an ambulance there in what was literally minutes. The staff were very friendly and patient when we could not speak their language. Definently recommend!!
There was an issue with the bill on the Monday morning. just some confusion with the online booking and the hotels system but I have no doubt they will sort it. it was only not sorted then because we had to leave.
thé grounds are beautiful, with a pond with frogs and lilies. very peaceful and quiet!
the room was very very warm at night and especially in the morning. was very difficult to put up with. luckily we had a terrace but that meant we couldn’t fully open the windows at night. some trees should be planted to create cooling shade. or at least some other form of shading to keep the Fassade cool. this is coming from an architect ?
Hotel is outside of Sendenhorst. Nice rooms in a separate building. Rooms are spacious with excellent beds. Bathroom has a rain shower. Sink is small for such a bathroom. Good breakfast and the eggs were prepared freshly.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that evening on which I was notified that morning. I had to go to town, and decided to use the car as the road is dark at night and cars drive fast there. I had a meal in town which was acutually very nice (in another hotel, they recommended)
