D'Hommelbelle

The hotel is not only beautifully restored it is exceptionally clean. Our host was so accommodating and helpful! The surprise included free breakfast was also delicious! Great experience.

NOT A THING!!!!

We had an excellent stay. A lovely renovation. Amazing breakfast. Easy parking. Very nice owners who run the hotel.

There is a road and there is some noise although it was not constant and did not keep us away. Our bed would be better located on another wall as you couldn’t sit up and read in bed.

Beautiful accommodation, lovely location, superb bedroom and bathroom.Lovely breakfast - you might say ‘scrambled eggs and bacon’ but it looked lovely and tasted excellent. Very nice hosts too!

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Great location Have used several times before and will use again, friends travelled with also very impressed and would use again

lovely friendly owners , very clean and lovely breafast

Concealed parking spots, the building had been renovated to a very high standard, the lady was very nice.

The steep stairway to the rooms.

Gorgeous home outside of Ypres. The surroundings were amazing. Room was just lovely and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also amazing!

We booked D'Hommelbelle mostly based on the rating ... and it is totally justified. A beautiful home from home in a rural location, but only a few minutes from Poperinge town centre. Sophie is a fantastic host and the facilities are fantastic. The bar and kitchen area in the photos are open for everyone to use, so you could even cook a meal if you want to. The bar works on an honesty system so just help yourself whenever you want. The gardens are great (although it was a bit wet to sit out when we visited). The rooms are modern and comfortable with good lighting and air-con. There are no drinks facilities in the room, but that didn't matter as the bar / kitchen was available downstairs. Breakfast is included and was superb. Ypres / Ieper is only 20 minutes drive away, with access to the entire area. Even if you don't have a car, D'Hommelbelle is a short taxi ride from the station in Poperinge, which will take you to Ieper and beyond. We will definitely be back to stay in the future.

Nothing to mention. Everything was perfect.

The hosts were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, everything was clean and the breakfasts were excellent

Friendly, comfortable, clean and family run. Always a pleasure staying here

Nothing, it is excellent

Everything was perfect, thank you. The host, facilities, breakfast, we loved it!

Very comfortable and clean. It felt like a home away from home. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating. It was great to be able to cook a meal in the modern kitchen. Perfect location to have some down time as well as see the sights of the area. Just what we needed.

Comfortable, clean, delicious breakfasts and exceptional hosts. It is first class.

Everything- Location, comfortable accommodations, friendly owners and great breakfast.

Updated beautiful facility in a gorgeous and peaceful location!! Sophie and Dries are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was everything you could have asked for even made to order eggs and bacon. The common room has comfortable sitting areas, TV, you can use the refrigerator and cook if you want to, they have beverages etc that you can get whenever you want on the honor system. They have thought of everything!

A level hotel with efficient and friendly staff, in an historic area

Everything! Super sweet family. Great location, wonderful accommodations and delicious breakfast!

That I couldn’t stay longer!

The host was very friendly and welcoming; and went out of her way to help - even with eggs and some bacon for breakfast also !The very large ‘garden’ was also lovely to relax in, during warm evenings

Nothing !
