Hotel Holiday Maria

The hotel was above expectations. It was new, clean, in a very nice location and the staff was above and beyond. The view from the balcony was really great. It had a pool with thermal water and they even provided bath robes in the room which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

the view from the balcony was fantastic and the access to the pool all night was great for us as we travelled during the day. The hostess was very nice and extremely helpful.

the food was ok and they didnt have hot chocolate or real juices, but it seems all Romania thinks Fanta or Cappy is fruit juice

The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk to shops but in a quiet neighborhood, you only hear the river running down stream, so relaxing! It has thermal pools for little children and adults as well, I highly recommend them. It is a new construction, the rooms are spotless, the staff is helpful and polite, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a restaurant and the food is absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef! We came here with our parents and wanted to have everything in one place, and this hotel has everything we wanted. I highly recommend Holiday Maria!

The restaurant was great, we only ate there during our 3 day stay. It has good pools with good water and temperature variety. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very rich and delicious.

Some amenities are starting to get old, for example the bath robes, and small repairs are necessary. But this is a small inconvenience.

We got a room with mountain view, which was breathtaking, if we would have gotten a room on the opposite side I wouldn’t have been so thrilled. View is amazing, you have access to the swimming pool which is also nice, you can hear the river from the balcony or restaurant terrace, breakfast is stunning, never seen so many options of food in a long while. People working at the property are all super friendly and helpful.

Parking is not that pleasant as you have to park on a narrow street, but I was told that they will start building a new parking place.Access to the pool is through a garage that is under construction:

Everything was just fine, nothing to complain about

I really enjoyed my stay at this famioly hotel. The location and the view are amazing. The staff is extrememly helpful and caring. The bedroom is clean. On top of that, you have a pool and the breakfast is very tasty.

I liked the location, the hotel, the room, the view from the balcony, the food, the thermal water and last but not least the staff, who were very kind.

The breakfast was great as always, but also the pools and the location.

Lively place, probably the most generous breakfast ever served in a hotel. Rooms large but very cozy and warm. Great balconies with view towards the mountains. Excellent welcoming committee and very warm hosts and staff.

A superb place for rest and relaxation in the mineral pools.The owners of the hotel are very kind and constantly take care of the guests. Very clean hotel with new furniture. A wonderful view of the river bank and the mountain. The food in the restaurant is very good. The breakfast is very varied, rich and of quality products. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation.

The staff were very helpful. The pool with the thermal water was a nice touch after a hike. Breakfast was decent.

I had issues with the Wi-Fi in the room. I ve had seen no other comments around it in the reviews, so it may have been just me. Didn’t effect me.

A very diverse Swedish-style breakfast buffet with a traditional twist. Friendly and helpful staff and owners. Hot spring jacuzzi was very nice.

There were bathrobes but no slippers, it would have been nice to have them also since I neglected to bring a pair of my own. The main pool was being cleaned/treated at the time of our stay so it was out of service.

A good place to spend time with the family and relax. Nice view, good food, good location.

The last day of our stay the thermal water was not thermal.

The location was great and easy to reach , car park is located underneath .We stay at 3th floor , big room with balcony and the view was breathtaking. They have jacuzzi with thermal water outside and another swimming pool as well. Green value for the money highly recommend!

Shower can be improved

The breakfast should have included seasonal local vegetables and more fruit/vegetables. Very heavy choice (meet, cheeses, bread and less fish, salads, fruits &vegetables). Not suitable for veggie/vegan, etc. However, fish in the evening was good prepared. Again, for an establishment praising itself for the best gastro place - the choice for cuisine is small. The cleanness of pool proposed also needs some attention. People using it and being hosted by hotel were drinking and smoking in the pool (Baile Herculane - not a health spa destination, but Ibiza kind destination). But surprised by reception welcoming and good service by receptionists. Thank you for hosting us!
