Best Western Hotel Polisina

The hotel is in a peaceful and relaxing location. The outside is beautifully landscaped. Inside is spacious, airy and clean! All amenities were in great condition.

Well located hotel with beautiful restaurant. We returned next day for dinner.

We arrived 12.30 after midnight. No arrangement hand over the key. Emergency telephone does not work, tried 6 times to call including while we're on the way. Emergency bell does not work. Key safe to issue the room card - was not arranged due to staff negligence. Took me 1 hour wandering around property to find open door, enter myself, fill out form myself, take the key card and sleep. Unbelievable how nothing works in German Best Western hotel property.

Evertything was great. Pool was nice with warm water, rooms were spacious, clean and cosy, breakfasts was great with plenty of choice. We had a very spacious studio (for the kids) with a shower for 10 and a regular double room for us.

For me the mattress was too hard, but I suppose this is very personal. I'm used to sleeping on a soft mattress.

The staff is very unprofessional. To be able to book table for dinner and birthday cake I had to make 2 phone calls and at least 5 e-mail. When I arrived to the hotel, it was still not clear what they had to arrange. Finally I explained them when I arrived to the hotel. I supposed that it is clear. But of course it was not. I paid for a small birthday cake 35 Euro which they totally forgot to bring. They came to table after we finished the dinner and asking me if we would like to have dessert ??? I had to remember them again that I ordered a birthday cake which supposed to be surprise for my friend. Totally ruined. Apart from this service was not good. The meet was done how would like to have. Also they mixes the orders. They need to have really trained staff. The nice holiday can turn to an annoying experience. ?

Pool was very nice and room was clean. Front desk staff were friendly.

This was our second time staying at the hotel. Both times we had dinner at the restaurant with the same server, Nabil. Nabil provided my wife and I with terrible service.

Made our dog feel welcome. Food was very nice when it was eventually served. Bedroom was warm.

Shocking service in the restaurant. We waited and waited whilst other guests were clearly being attended to. The bar early in the evening (7pm) was closed and we were told to go upstairs along the corridor to the restaurant to obtain a drink. Had to stand waiting in the the middle of a busy restaurant whilst the staff got us a glass of Beer and a glass of Prosecco then had to trek all the way back downstairs to drink it whilst watching people walking through in towels wet from the pool. Really unacceptable in a hotel of this rate. Location is rural until next morning you realise you’re in the middle of an industrial estate. Also rooms and bathroom are very dated.

Really nice Spa facilities with 2 saunas, steam room, quiet area and a pool with a pleasant water temperature.

The room seems like it was last decorated in the 90s. The furniture is of a good quality but it’s all very worn and in need of renovation. The mattresses were far too soft. There was no water pressure for a warm shower. The bar area is an extension of the corridor. Not a relaxing place to have a drink. The hotel is understaffed with only one person responsible for the reception, bar and spa and one person responsible for breakfast. I had to twice search out a member of staff to get a drink. I expect a better breakfast for this price. Bad coffee machine, very little choice of teas, watered down orange juice, no freshly cooked eggs or omelettes, no pastries, aside from croissants, and stale cake.

Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Pool was great. Front desk staff were friendly.

Our server in the restaurant was inattentive and rushed.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Not only is it located cosily outside town with a fantastic view of the wineries but it has an amazing restaurant on site. Friendly staff, great food and overall a great place to stay with your dog. A bunch of parking, nice outdoor area.

I wish there was a fridge it the room.

Whilst they accepted dogs they were only permitted in certain areas not the restaurant . So breakfast was difficult. We had to sit on the outside terrace with our dog.

The hotel has a very nice spa area and my wife took the opportunity to have some spa treatments during our stay. We had a room in the older part of the hotel which had an extra bed located adjacent to the main bedroom area as well as a balcony. We had an evening meal in the restaurant on the occasion of my wife's birthday and the staff dressed the table to mark the event.

Size of room, clean and modern.Excellent breakfast! Only stayed 1 night did not use facilities.

Super friendly staff and staff on average. We only had an issue with a squeaky door and asked the blonde morning receptionist to get smb to fix it. When we came back in the evening, the problem remained unresolved. When I called reception, I was lucky to have super-helpful receptionist Enrico who not only organised oil for the door, but also came to fix it. Thank you! Other than that (minor) issue with the door, we enjoyed our stay there and certainly the beautiful areas around. The Sylvaner Weinsauerkraut from the restaurant is highly recommended!

Well, the issue with the squeaky door should have been fixed by the time we returned in the evening.. Maybe a staff re-training will help.
