Breakfast was freshly prepared, delicious and accompanied with great service. The people working there are kind, welcoming and helpful.

When it comes to breakfast, it would be nice to have more variety and not always same package.Small improvement tips for the owners:- don't be afraid to offer genuine experience: picking up cactus figs and cleaning them, touring olive trees field, explaining how oil or wine are produced or at least offer organized tours

The staff were really lovely and kind. The location and vista was incredible.

The rooms were a bit dark.

The staff were extremely welcoming and breakfast was lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was nice.

Didn't enjoy the restaurant for dinner. The staff was nice and their wine is delicious but the food just doesn't really go with the setting - tries to be too fancy but doesn't quite suceed. I'd recommend simplying their menu and I think it would be more successful. There's really no where else to eat in the area within 30 minutes so it would have improved our stay if we could have enjoyed the food more.

We loved the staff, facilities, meals and especially the hospitality! Marco, Roxanne, Lorraine, Giula! They made the stay wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely designed property with beautiful views over the hills.

We would have liked to have some fresh vegetables at breakfast, but that's personal choice.

We had a wonderful stay at the Masseria. The facility is beautiful, very well maintained and laid out with great attention to detail and with lots of little cozy corners to sit in. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful and the view of the sea is amazing. The food in the restaurant and the wine and olive oil from the Masseria were excellent, as well as the breakfast and the drinks by the pool. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and we felt very comfortable and very well looked after at all times. I can only recommend a stay here and would come back at any time! The hotel is situated on a hill and offers a wonderful view of the countryside and the sea. We stayed in the suite and were able to enjoy the characterful and beautiful historic rooms. There is a highly recommended restaurant in the hotel with Sicilian cuisine. The atmosphere (in October) was very quiet and relaxing, and the staff's friendliness was particularly pleasant.

The immediate area was a bit off-putting outside the tourist season due to the predominance of closed shops and empty places. However, if you are prepared for this in advance, you can simply spend a good time at the pool in the hotel or go on longer excursions

Marco always took the time out to ensure we were enjoying our stay and have us lots of tips for our Sicily trip- Great communication from Marco before we arrived- The food was great- The bed was extremely comfortable- The location is beautiful, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards

- Our room was a little small, so it would have been good to have a suitcase stand to put one of our suitcases on- The food was amazing but would have loved bigger portions for the evening menu

If I had one small niggle, it would be that the hotel was almost too urban and contemporary.

The food in the restaurant was extraordinary, with especially inventive dishes on the dinner menu. Breakfast was just lovely. The grounds are beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the owners could not be more accommodating. Highly recommend that you stay here.

It was stunning location but also a very modern building with great amenities Pool was fab and food was just insanely great plus the service and staff completed the package for a fab holiday for our family!

Could do with curtains in the living room part of suite as we had our 2 kids sleep there

Wow,What an incredible place. Nicely tucked away on the SW of Sicily in Menfi, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Masseria Del Carboj, with Marco and the time providing the best hospitality. A few highlights:- Food, we ended up eating at Masseria everyday as the meals were so well thought through and prepared. The team provide top of the range food choices at affordable prices, with the additional benefit of their own wine- Hospitality: Excellent, all the staff looked after us for our stay and we felt very comfortable through the trip- Villas: Clean, well thought out and very comfortable and convenient- Pool / amenities: ExcellentOverall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back and would highly recommend Masseria Del Carboj.Nils and Kiera
