Hotel Waldhalle

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. The staff was super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. The breakfast was really good as well at a decent price.

It was perfect.

Friendly welcome. Secure, covered bike garage. Large room with spectacular outlook. Amazing breakfast.

A sensor in our bedroom set off a bright light if either of us went to the bathroom at night. There seemed no way to turn it off. A disturbed night. (Otherwise, I would give 10.)

Early morning delivery with peeeping car for about 5 minutes, was not very pleasing way how to wake-up…

Nice views - we had a great room with full views over the lake. Very beautiful.

We didn’t book a table for dinner and were seated in front of a huge breakfast service unit which took the view away. We had enjoyed if we would have had an opportunity to also sit outside, it was warm enough and good weather.

Great hotel/restaurant by a little lake. Hotel had EV charging facilities which was highly appreciated and convenient.

Restaurant staff totally ignored us after having eaten a meal. My wife wanted a desert and coffe but we gave up after half an hour and walked over to reception to pay.

Staff was extremely friendly and went the extra mile to get all we need to get ready for a wedding, the hotel is by a lake with lots of walk in the forest starting directly from the hotel door!!!

Nothing!!! Everything was perfect

The view on the lake from our room was magical. Rooms where super clean and spot on.

40 minutes before the end of breakfast and some of the choices (bread, bacon and eggs) were sold out. They didn't restock it.

Wonderful hotel in a lovely setting. Very pleasant outside seating area and restaurant. The food was exceptional. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel on the lake very relaxing setting we had lovely sliding doors that opened onto the view. Don’t keep these open if you are a non smoker as there are table and chairs below. Good breakfast options.

They barricade the restaurant & reception area after 10. There doesn’t seem to be any vending machine or anything so you are on your own at night if you need anything.

Location, service, food

The triple room we booked is actually a nice two-bedrooms apartment in a building next to the main one, it had a separate entrance, small kitchenette and nice leaving room. The hotel is beautifully located in the middle of a forest and close to a lake. Dogs friendly.

The lake is ideal for impressionist painting, amazingly quiet and calm in the morning, awesome energy from the walks around or swimming in.Great breakfast and dinner on terrace with the view of the lake.

The rooms facing forest a bit noisy from the cars in the morning.We had to use use the fan in the room to cool it down in the evening when we arrived.Small bottles of water ware provided in the room, but no bottle opener in 2 out of 3 rooms our group was using.

Normally I'm not someone who writes a review. But Ali was great at helping me with loading my electric car. The hotel was very good in a superb location. Food in the restaurant was great as well.
