Staff are very kind. Breakfast is great. Nice atmosphere.

Lovely old hotel right in town opposite the railway station. Excellent breakfast. Interesting paintings in the rooms. Thick walls so very quiet.

Had an excellent stay here - the staff at Schrannenhof were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome. The breakfast included a great variety of choices, including some homemade jams and eggs from their own chickens. The hotel itself, which is a 15th-century building, has charm and character to it, and is in a decent and quiet location with both a bus stop and a train station out the front, making travel to Vienna and around the area convenient.

Great family hotel, very friendly staff, great location for going to the center of Wien. The bus station is right in front of the hotel, and you are in the center in 25 min with public transport (bus or train).

Everything. Lovely staff. Very clean and large rooms. Parking possibility. Lovely enviroment. You may feel like you are at your own home. At Breakfast area, very lovely and friendly employees. I will definetely stay here when we visit to Vienna.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Generous rooms that were always immaculate and a truly scrumptious breakfast buffet. Local shops and attractions are all within walking distance, while getting into central Vienna was also easy.A wonderfully romantic pre-Christmas destination.

Nothing to fault

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms wore clean and room cleanup was very good. Food was excelennt.

Maybe a few more parking spots would be nice. And the entrance is a bit narrow.

Super location, great historical building with amazing beds! Breakfast was good as well. You were in 25 minutes in the city center of Vienna!

Water temperature of the shower was very hard to change (super hot for those who like that ;-))

It was a wonderful hotel. Staff were lovely, helpful and caring. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and worked well as private apartments for the family rather than being single, impersonal rooms. The breakfasts were amazing and filled us up for much of the day.

Nothing could have been better. We could happily have stayed for much longer.

Wonderful old world hotel in a small town just outside Vienna city limits. The hotel sits adjacent to the bus and train station so simple to get into the heart of Vienna. Very friendly and helpful staff! Fabulous breakfast

Free parking is a little tight. Limited dining options, although they are three restaurants and a bakery next to the hotel.

Charming small hotel with wonderful staff and breakfast

First of all, the staff is very friendly and we're delighted to stay in this historic and wonderful hotel. Breakfast was exquisite. Parking was safe and couldn't be better. The room was huge, it was more like a house. It even has a outside coffee table to chill in front of your own room. It was a wonderful experience to stay in Schrannenhof.

Maybe the hotel can provide some one-use slippers for their guests and renew the sofas in their room. Thus an air humidifier or air conditioner could be great in order to eliminate humid smell in of the room.

Very nice, full of history, more than 500 years old but very well maintained! Free parking, first quality of all breakfast items, bus station in front of the hotel,15-20 min to Viena centre!

Great breakfast choice.Comfortable room and bed.Lovely garden areas and decor.Great location, buses and trains within very easy reach...on the doorstep. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Everything was very nice. the staff is very polite and will give you full directions where to go and what to see and what to get around with. the hotel is very quiet and you can rest. the breakfast is unique! and only if you know what homemade pate they make.... i highly recommend this hotel with both hands!
