    Pros +

    • Triple room was large. Quiet location.
    • Great little hotel for stopping off for one night. Breakfast was very good and the location was nice as you had a lovely view over the fields.
    • Clean, quiet room. Good, fresh breakfast. Small hotel near a bus station. Good value for the money.

    Cons -

    • The room was far too small and had no air conditioning. The beds were very small and uncomfortable. There were not enough towels provided, and the shower was not working properly. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.
    • Reception was closed on arrival. Called number shown on doors but the person didn't speak English. Rather basic breakfast. Wi-fi in our room didn't work. Booked three beds but instead got a room with one double and one single.
    • All good

Great breakfast, good choice. The bread rolls were exceptionally good.Room was clean and comfortable. Adequate for a short stay.Staff were very helpful and accommodating for our late arrival.

A kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would enhance things for us especially being late arrivals.

I came around 11:00pm and I could still check in, the bathroom had amazing utilities and breakfast had quite some varieties. Staff was really friendly and easy going.

it is very conveniently located close to the A4 and still quiet in pastoral settings, it’s helped us a lot

there was nothing to complain about

Breakfast was fantastic and staff wonderful. Trixie was perfect ?

The bed was horrible. Topper was very insufficient. Sleeping on the floor would have been less hard.

The Hotel was clean and tidy, room was clean and comfortable. It's position as a stop-over to the coastal ports is good if you are driving up from Austria/South Germany.

No reception in operation, or employees around on our arrival, had to phone a number to get a key code. The staff were smoking within the hotel (I think it was a staff rest area) and the smell permeated the corridors. Coffee machine required money to operate it. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No on site meals other than breakfast.

The location was in a quaint town close to a water castle with 5 minutes walking distance. Staff was nice and the breakfast was awesome. It was a transit stop and we no time to explore the town that much.

The pillows were large and extremely loose.

Room clean. Nice breakfast. Staff all Pleasant. Nice place for stop over while we were travelling towards Ferry Few little issues but would stay again as overall nice. The house looked lovely if you have room there.

Shower Flooded Bathroom due to poor fitting seal on shower door. We were in a room in separate building to house so was noisy with huge lorrys going past early in the morning and doors banging at 5.30am.

All good in general. Helpful staff. Sufficient size of the rooms. I was arriving at night and asked to provide somehow the key - they kindly leaved it in the special safe box and explained how to get it. It was a good choice for me to stay overnight on my long way by car.

    Breakfast could be more diversified.

Very nice rooms, helpful owner and staff, pet friendly, beautiful surroundings. Small yard with a fish pond

Hotel is quite small and family run which gives you a family feeling but also might not give you complete privacy if you're looking for it.

    no stay

I arranged previously to arrive around 21.00, which was confirmed. There were several mails after this from Booking.com about my stay. When I arrived, I was informed that the hotel was full and had no record of my reservation. When I showed my reservation confirmation, the receptionist said that Booking.com had obviously not informed them. She did however tell me that they had another hotel nearby - Hotel St. Vinzenz - and that it had a room available. However, to arrive tired, late at night after a long drive to find out that, despite reservation confirmation, there is no room, and to then have to drive to another hotel, is a dreadful experience.

Nice size rooms, massive bathroom, with bath and double shower.

No Tea or coffee in the room, it's ok I suppose if you're in the main building but in the new part it's weary having to get a coffee. Some linen on the bed had a musky smell.

Nice family run B&B.Clean, comfortable room, with a big shower.Quick and easy access to Cologne.(We had a car)

    Nothing. All good..

    Room was nice

Breakfast was a little basic and no coffee facilities in room

The room and bathroom were spacious enough for two people. The location is really close to the Burg Bergerhausen. The countryside feeling added nice ambience to our stay.

There was no staff when we arrived to check in around 3pm on a Saturday. We were given instructions to phone call to do self-check in. They could've just put these instructions using the messaging feature on Booking.com. The staff team weren't that friendly and welcoming. They look annoyed when we wanted to ask about the breakfast time. We could not find this information anywhere. They ran out of Brötchen half an hour before breakfast ended and the owner had to go out and get some. They also ran out of boiled eggs and one of the staff asked me if I wanted one. These shoudn't be happening in the first place. It made the whole breakfast experience feeling weird. The pillows in the room were incredibly thin. The neighbour's dogs also kept barking at random times.
