    Pros +

    • A small paradise in a very small town! We loved our stay, room was huge and tastefully appointed. Restaurant was excellent, although they ran out of a few menu items on both nights we had dinner. Easy drive to Gallipoli and up/down the coast. Mimi the cat was our roommate on our deck, she was so sweet! Staff was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!
    • Beautiful gardens and property. The pool is quiet and the setting is unreal. We loved the spa and had 2 magical massages by Anna Lisa. Amazing staff and nothing was too hard. We arrived extremely late at night and Geraldo organised platters of food in our room. This was very welcome after a long day travelling and having some luggage not arrive. Our only regret is not staying longer. Well done to the owner and staff of Nohasi for your hospitality and and care.
    • Absolutely exceptional!Nohasi Palace is truly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind—every detail was taken care of with genuine warmth. The service was flawless, the food delicious, and the entire experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely stunning venue in a remote part of Italy where you can escape but there is a town a little drive away.

    Nothing, it’s fabulous

    9KarenPosted on: 10-21-2024

Friendly, boutique, quiet, small but quaint town (cake shop best in Italy!)

    9AndreasPosted on: 6-30-2024

Pool was wonderful, breakfast was very good, all staff very kind and helpful, buildings/facilities meticulously renovated and very well maintained, many different spaces to explore and use as a guest, well integrated into local community with many external guests coming in for dinner or festivities, easy parking in front of building, good location to explore southern part of Salento

permanent (loud!) music from speaker system everywhere, immediate surroundings outside of hotel rather modest and not inviting

Great venue decorated with a lot of taste and amazing landscaping. Family run hotel with a lot if attention to details

    9ElspethPosted on: 10-23-2023

Beautiful grounds and hotel and very friendly and helpful staff

It's a shame that the spa was a separate cost and very expensive (£150 for a couple for 1 hour)

    10LarryPosted on: 10-21-2023

Quiet, excellent service and great food.

Beautiful place, stunning design, very comfortable and food delicious

Not much going on around the hotel, had to drive to Galatina (beautiful) or further for dinner or activities

    10SimonPosted on: 8-9-2023

Beautiful historical property with wonderful rooms, lovely gardens and pool. Friendly and accommodating staff. Amazing food.

    10SarahPosted on: 8-8-2023

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Amazing attention to detail, friendly and professional staff, fantastic food, comfortable and spacious rooms, all set in beautiful grounds. We are 8 months in to a year in Italy and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

    Nothing - loved it all.

Amazing property. Beautiful rooms and pool and grounds. Every piece of fittings and furniture unique.

The only complaint I have is the music which was always playing. It did not match the beautiful serene palazzo.

    10KathrynPosted on: 7-14-2023

The property is beautiful- the building, the furnishings, art, grounds and an amazing pool and spa. The staff were all friendly and tremendously helpful. It was lovely to meet the owner, dine in the restaurant and enjoy the beautiful spa

We enjoyed everything. You can really see the care and degree of effort that is put into the property to make it exceptional

This hotel is exceptional. We spent 5 weeks in 5 star hotels across Europe and this hotel was by far the best. Service is fantastic - nothing is too much trouble, rooms and hotel are beautiful. A perfect base for day trips to different locations in puglia.

    Nothing!

    staff were excellent

to expensive for what it is. the spa was lovely but additional to room rate. the room 2 nights €750 was average at best.

    10PiotrPosted on: 6-12-2023

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The renovated building boasts amazing facilities, including a great spa and pool, making it a worthwhile destination on its own. The restaurant and breakfast were exceptional too. Just be aware that the close surroundings may not be touristy, so for a longer stay, it's nice to explore the region by car or take advantage of the transportation options offered by the hotel.

the WiFi in the room was a bit disappointing

this is a beautiful and intimate hotel. The pool and landscape are amazing and very serene. the staff is amazing and really look after you so well to make you feel at home.from the start I was touched by their hospitality when Miriam came to pick me, everyone helped a lot in looking after my son and we had a great stay

5 star touches EVERYWHERE. The exquisite attention to details paid to the construction, decoration and facilities of this hotel is almost beyond compare. The staff were also fabulous, very attentive and provided us with highly personal attention (which I should add was not over bearing). We loved the fact it was a smaller, boutique hotel and therefore shared areas were never busy. The food for breakfast is great, as is the dining in the restaurant. The longer my mother and I stayed at this hotel; the more we fell in love with it and never wanted to leave! The location was great for exploring the areas of Ontranto, Lecce, Gallipoli, Ostuni on day trips but does require a car - However this is true for all areas of Puglia in my experience.

The prices of the services available in the hotel reflect the 5 star nature of the property - they are very expensive. But you do get what you pay for! Which is very high quality.
