Room, cleanness, food, people!

Cosy dining area. Very friendly staff. Good beds, clean rooms, all facilities available. Great breakfast.

Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner, and the staff was very attentionate

Noise insulation between rooms could be a little better, beds were not the most comfy either

You could hear everyone walking around the hallway and stairs whilst in the room

Beautiful location, lovely friendly welcoming staff. The room was very comfy and facilities were great. The menu for dinner was good, not too much choice for us veggies, but the food was very nice (portions for dinner were huge!). Breakfast was also lovely and the peaceful setting on the water made for a nice start to our day.

The location in Franeker is exceptionally beautiful, alongside a river. The town is walking distance and historically interesting. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive, and the facilities are good though 'no frills' (which is fine with me).

I liked everything. This is a three star hotel, which is what we wanted.

Nice quiet hotel in a good location with parking for my motorbike. Good breakfast included in room price.

Hot food could have been kept hotter. Coffee was excellent.

Sitting room (in suite) was on floor below the bedroom, so not much use unless the additional sofa bed was needed for extra guests. Air conditioners were very effective, but occasionally noisy.

Lovely hotel which has been renovated into spacious rooms, with tea and coffee facilities, next to a restaurant placed on the canals. The restaurant is very busy so make sure you have a reservation as it is well worth the visit - the food and service was excellent. Good wifi and very convenient parking right across the street from the hotel. The staff helped with the luggage which was fabulous!! Had a lovely stay and will recommend. It's a pretty and quant town.

Nothing - if you don't want to use stairs, ask for a room down stairs.

Nice place by the water. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is also downstairs at the hotel. We recommend you book in advance to get a table.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Parking for motorcycle in hotel parking place and great views of the canal from the terrace and dining rooms. Very vibrant atmosphere...First class !

The bathroom could have a little extra shelf to put stuff on for the ladies, like make up etc

The location is picturesque and close to the town centre. Our room was comfortable with a very suitable wet room and good beds. The breakfast was more than adequate (even a fresh (!) fruit salad) The restaurant is fantastic, offering local seasonal dishes. The (free) parking place has 2 chargers for electric vehicles.

The charming location. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was rather disappointing. The bathroom is separated with a painted panel that lets light (and silhouettes) through. It is not bad per se but did not work for us.

Great atmosphere. Location can't be beat and food was 5 stars.Staff are most accomodating.
