Hotel Duinrand just changed owner, and was still busy preparing everything.

The bed was unstable... there was no soap etc. in the bathroom...

Good location in the middle of the nature

The preference I communicated was confirmed via e-mail , but ended up being unfulfilled afterwards.

An amazing place just in the woods of Netherlands. A very relaxing, elegant and comfortable environment with a very warm and welcoming staff. Even though the hotel was not really working during my stay, the staff has done all to make me feel comfortable. I have arrived late in the evening but they were waiting for and even ordered me a dinner. I was really positively surprised and strongly recommend the place.

Cheap and only availability

Dirty dirty dirty. With mould and rust. Smelt like humidity and even cigarettes.

The room was large and we had twin beds as requested

The room was so damp our clothes had to go back in the suitcase damp and the towels didn’t dry. There was no room clean after the first night. Whilst staff were friendly they lacked training, knowledge and language skills, so not helpful. The restaurant opened at 9.30, so late for breakfast. We returned late in the evening and the gate was locked and our key had been disabled.

It was very green around, location was nice and quite, the rooms are clean and even have a kitchen built in the room. There is enough parking space and the restaurant has great food! 2 min walk to go into the Loonse Drunense Duinen. Which is fantastic if you are a lover of nature and want to get some fresh air!

There were no slippers for us guests in the rooms (the ones you see in every hotel) and there was no hairdryer or iron in the room. We selected a double bed, which was 2 single beds put together, and this made us fall in between the bed sometimes, which is not comfortable, and there were not enough towels. When these things are added and fixed, it could be a 10 out of 10.

There was no window or ventilation in the bathroom. Not enough towels were supplied and there wasn't a reception desk. Also there was no phone in the room to contact the Staff.

The room was really clean ,really good installations ,nice and clean open bathroom . Amazing location situated in the middle of the forest ,quiet and peaceful . The staff of the hotel and restaurant was really friendly and good food in the restaurant . I reccomend it!

I liked the remoteness of the location, it was super quiet! The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean and it was nice having a fridge. The hotel had a restaurant which we didn’t use in the evening as it was very busy, but we had breakfast the following morning before checking out which was lovely. The gentleman who took our order also said if there was something we fancied that wasn’t on menu, they would try their best to accommodate and make it for us.

I didn’t feel very comfortable dragging all of our luggage through a very busy restaurant, and having to go to the bar in the restaurant to check-in. This is the only thing I didn’t like about this hotel, I would definitely stay again!

Woodland setting, peaceful. Clean well presented spacious accommodation, friendly helpful staff. Wood fire, views from the dining room/bar excellent, parking adequate.

The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I made a mistake extending my stay on the Booking.com site and accidentally moved the dates in. The manager contacted me as he was expecting me to check in that day and made arrangements correcting my error outside of the Booking.com system while keeping the same price overal as quoted originally. Also, I accidentally left the default of 2 travellers in the booking (I was traveling alone) and the manager made up the difference in tourist tax!As a result of their automated door keys (linked to the booking system), I was locked out at 10pm on the day I originally was planning to check out. Although the staff was not on the premises, after sending a text to the manager, within 5 minutes someone arrived and provided me a new door key!As a seasoned traveler, I rarely see this level of personal engagement, flexibility and accommodation!

The staff was nice and hepfull. The room was spacious and clean.

Location and food in the restaurant

Beds and room were not tied up Around the property lack of maintenance and glass beside the door. Old lamps and other stuff in the gardenHeating not properly working and taps are loose on the table. Rain shower head partly blocked

I loves the cozy and calm location. The hotel is behind the restaurant, easy accessible. I loved the rainshower.

Our room wasn't very warm, the thermostat was set to 21.5 degrees, but the room didn't get that warm.The bathroom did get nice and warm, which was great!The blankets were warm, and 18.5 degrees is good for sleeping, but not for sitting and reading or watching tv.Despite that, I was still very happy with the room.

there was no breakfast at all, on mondays and tuesdays the restaurant does not work at all! We arrived on monday evening and waiting for 45minutes for someone to open the door, cause it was closed totally altough we told them about the late arrival.. the room is not bad, but the temperature inside the room was only 15 degrees !!!The only "bright" point was the guy who opened the door, nice one

Mildew in the bathroom, and even it has obviously been recently renovated it felt kind of “stale”.

Location seems good if you want to enjoy nature. For me it was a one night stay to be able to start early at nearby (15 mins) Bernardus golf. Spacious room

I booked this for a quiet night outside of a city for a good night rest, but there was a lot of noise that kept me awake. The windows do not keep noise outside from hallways or from outside the building. Window was right at the parking space and some people arriving or leaving between 1am and 3 am woke me up a few times even with wax in my ears to block out soundsThe mattras is quite comfortable. Not so good pillows. The room is spacious. Good bathroom.It took 20 mins before my check in was handled. Staff seems not of high standard (not interested) with few exceptions (those in the lead) from what I witnessed and experienced. This is probably a good stay if you are there to enjoy nature, but not for a quiet night. I did not use breakfast or dinner facilities, but seems a spacious area to utilize.
