Hotel Taurus

Location was good - in the center of town. The room was very satisfactory for our needs - bed was very comfortable. The proprietors were very helpful.

The entrance to hotel was a little hard to find.

Great property, clean and tidy

The breakfast was a real disappointment, €13.50 a day for Cereal, bread and one pastry. If they can sort the breakfast out then it’s a great place all round.

Professional hotel in town centre. Quiet and clean. Shops, pubs and restaurants within close proximity.

I have rezervate a room with a double bed and i have receive a room with two single beds !

very poorly renovated, old furniture. the most disgusting was that we found a bedbug in our bed!!!

Didn't take breakfast however evening food was of a good quality and reasonably priced free parking available plus a free overspill public carpark.Plenty of other bars / eateries within walking distance

Directions to the carpak included at time of booking (parking at rear of property) on Friday and Saturday late night opening can be noisy.

Despite the fact that the hotel had a huge function, they still happily accommodate us. The staff was very welcoming and highly professional. Compare to my previous stay, on this occasion the checking in process was very smooth and swift. Our request of a late checking out was accepted immediately.

Very very helpful staff. Found an iron and ironing board for me. Looked out extra tea.

The hot water was dangerously hot. Told staff to please get a notice put in the bathroom to warn future guests.

great location, nice staff, it's great because there's air conditioning and smart TV, I like that there's a mini terrace on the first floor so you don't have to go all the way down to smoke a cigarette. it's clean and tidy, the hotel has its own bar where they have delicious fries. towels, soap and basic care products such as cotton pads, nail files, sewing thread and ear buds are provided I recommend it to everyone!? I will definitely come back when I need it?

The is perfect of what we need. Having a restaurant and bar downstairs makes more fun with family.

The staff were exceptional, really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything we needed fir a long weekend stay. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town with lots of pubs & restaurants within walking distance. There is also a large, free, carpark to the rear of the hotel.

This stay couldn't be faulted. Really enjoyable and the language barrier was non existent.

After a friendly welcoming we checked our room and found the room towards the road, unfortunately, as described in other comments, without the chance to open the window even though the air was a bit sticky. Cooling should do it's work - but not nice.

We asked for another room but it was sold out. The location is central, yes, but it was noisy during public holiday in the bar down stairs. Biggest problem was the dirtyness of the bathroom: not properly cleaned since ages. This gave no trust - seeing also the fast food restaurant downstairs and the terrace upstairs with a lot of quick fixes. The dirtyness is not acceptable. Seeing the other reviews: I clearly rate it down to protect other travellers.

Simple but comfy no frills room above a quite pub in the city centre. good VFM

Equipped with kettle, tea and instant coffee, but no mug(s).. (only a plastic cup in the bathroom)

Adquate hotel in the absolute center of town, next to the theatre. When we checked it we found our room being noisy due to the ventilation system of the restaurant, but we were moved when we compained about the noise. I should note that that ventilation system was switched off when we returned to our room in the late evening.

There was no breakfast while on booking.com it was advertised that breakfast was available at an extra fee. We woke up on a monday and we found the restaurant being closed. This was not communicated when we checked in. No personnel around when we checked out, so I left the key-card at the counter.

We had á very good stay added extra night, so total ofv4 nights. Nice location, restaurants and shops all around and easy too have nice walks.

Nice location in the downtown of Cuijk, close to the river, quiet.

Breakfast was served too late in the morning, I was not given any option and I had to buy food to eat alone in my room.Room was shabby and was not cleaned for 2 days, floor dirty and sticky, room stinky. The owner didn't speak a good English and she didn't understand (or didn't want to) some of my requests. No restaurant available, in the neighbourhood kitchen closed at 7.30 pm.

Inexpensive basic hotel in the middle of the town. Good for an overnight stay.

Excellent place to stay, very peaceful area, many bars around the hotel with very friendly people :) we had a really good time there. Definitely recommended!
