About

Surrounded by the Valencian countryside outside the city of Elche, this rural holiday complex is set around a tropical garden containing an outdoor swimming pool. Las Palmeras lies in among several mountain nature reserves, just 20 minutes from the fantastic beaches of the Costa Blanca. Enjoy this peaceful, Mediterranean setting with a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. The complex also features an outdoor hot tub, where you can relax in the shade of the abundant palm trees. The complex restaurant serves a delicious selection of traditional Mediterranean cuisine in an elegant setting. To accompany your meal you can choose from a range of fine wines stored in the complex’s own cellar.

    Pros +

    • Great atmosphere and very welcoming. The room was large and comfortable and shower was fantastic. The shared area with sofas next to the rooms was also a big bonus.
    • The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't too far from the town. The beds were comfortable but we were there 7 nights in all, so the sheets could have been changed a bit more often.
    • The beds were very comfortable. The room was basic but clean. The bathroom had a bath which was good. The staff very friendly and accommodating.

    Cons -

    • The food in the restaurant wasn't good, but it was nice to have a glass of wine there at the end of the day
    • The room was very noisy, next to the lift which we could hear it rolling up and down. Plus the noise of the occupants next door and people walking up and down the corridor and closing doors with a bang. A notice would be helpful to remind people to be quiet as some people might have an early start in the morning and need to sleep. Also the windows still had the metal surrounding the frame. I think the rooms need double glazing for the noise and keep in the heat etc.
    • The walls of the rooms were paper thin. Could hear the people talking normally next door. When the other guests were coming back to the rooms the slams of the doors were very loud especially if it was 2 am in the morning. Would have liked side lights in the bedroom as only a main head light which was quite bright.

Liked it all. A traditional Spanish with a twist of bohemian decore. Clean, and lovely staff. With plentiful room everywhere. A and 3 pools. Very happy costumers.

The balcony from the room had no shade. So could do with a umbrella.

We landed late in Alicante and we booked here for a break and continue the trip. The food, staff, room and swimming pool are fantastic. It has a camping next to it, it looked very nice.

Clean and fresh. Nice to have air conditioning and a pool too. The food at the restaurant was great and a good price. Really appreciate them checking us in at 2am and upgrading our room for free when it turned out the hotel was fully booked. Would stay here again!

    Everything was nice.

This resort features friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond. The food is excellent, and the cozy atmosphere, full of small birds, adds to the charm. The pool is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. I would definitely come again.

The location was good for what we needed it for. The food ordered in the hotel was nice.

The hotel overall is quite dated. The reception was not very forthcoming with information upon arrival. There was building work going on which we were not informed about which was pretty noisy. The floors were not cleaned properly in our room. There were no products available to use like shower gel or toiletries.

Great stop driving south from Marseille to Malaga. Just what we needed. Close to the motorway. Comfortable room and bathroom. Nice bar, with taps before dinner. Good dinner on the terrace. Excellent value for money. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very inviting too.

Superb pool area, restaurant food and service was excellent, clean and spotless bedroom.

    9KennethPosted on: 5-16-2023

Good location, hotel clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and willing to help, restaurant and bar very good especially the bar area, you can take a drink or breakfast inside or out, the garden area around the pool particularly relaxing surrounded with mature garden.

    I have nothing to add.

The location was convenient for travelling on the A7 Alicante to Murcia. The room was spacious with a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom was also good with a bath (including plug which is often missing) and shower over bath. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was great, with vegetarian options as well as the usual meat and fish. Also the wine was nice. We had breakfast the next morning in the bar area, all good. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and for a one night stay the hotel was good value for money (50 euros for the room).

    location. friendly staff

very small room hard to find.

    5AgnesPosted on: 10-19-2022

Bed comfortable, towels changed every day. Shower was good, had good pressure.

Needs up dating. A bit behind, the windows were old wooden frames, couldn't open one, the other wouldn't stay open without putting a wedge in to keep open, to get air in. The bathroom vent was slow to clear the steam.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful traditional Spanish hotel with bar/ cafe. Perfect overnight stay from Alicante airport. Highly recommend!

    Nothing. Place is great!

    9KennethPosted on: 5-19-2022

good location hotel and room very clean. all the facilities were available, massive swimming pool? restaurant and separate bar perfect for light breakfast, restaurant good value, staff friendly.

    all ok

Good value for a "budget hotel".The cafeteria was very good for Coffees and snacks

The restaurant wasn't really what we expected, the menu was very limited some items were over-priced for what there was. We put this down to covid restrictions and low numbers of guests.

    7SharonPosted on: 12-7-2021

I liked the friendly staff and breakfast

I didnt like having my room above the kitchen with a very loud generator humming for hours. Also no tea and coffee facilities in the room. TV had no english speaking channel. The sofa area should have a tv with sky to relax. In winter you cannot roam the streets.

Staff very efficient & friendly.Restaurant linked cafe, serving excellent food at reasonable prices

    Room adequate, bed very comfortable.
