Denizci Hotel

Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They went beyond the call of duty. The location so close to the boats and the seaside is great. I had a room in the back and it was fairly quiet.

I wished they had non smoking rooms. My room smelled¿

Excellent location, sea view,nice breakfast, the parking procedure kind of hectic, but it worked.

The room was shaby, the TV didn't work. The only new functioning thing was the elevator. Staff eager to help but not very professional, as it should be for 100€ per night.

The location is very central.

We loved the room and the hotel location, it was ideal for exploring Sinop on foot. 24 hours of paid parking really close to the hotel was only 250TL (£2.50). Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately there was a smell of cigarettes everywhere and even somehow getting into our room. For non-smokers this wasn't pleasant. Possibly draught-proofing the doors would help, although it was also coming into the bathroom through the vent/fan.

Clean hotel and everything in working order. Location was fantastic - plenty of places to eat and a nice walk to the markets. Great traditional turkish breakfast.

Being charged twice by the hotel. Although I showed them that payment had been taken from my bank they insisted they hadn’t received the money. Then two days later I noticed that both payments had gone through my bank account. After several messages to the hotel they finally accepted they had been an error and it took several days to get the money back, what was just as bad was that booking.com refused to accept my version of events and would not help, very poor all round

The guy at the reception was alway very kind. The room was clean and the bathroom large enough. The lobby shows the memories of a luxurious past, the position is just 50 meters from the sea, even if you can't see it from the rooms, and it is close to the core area of the city.

The hotel condition is fair but absolutely not aligned to its price, I guess because of the high season, but I'd usually pay MAYBE half of what I paid, to sleep in a place like this in Turkey. I paid far more than what I paid for a better room, in Sultanamet in Isanbul, 200m from the Gran Bazar. The room was a standard one, because we just had to sleep one night, but it was very small and facing an extremely noisy road. This review doesn't apply to higher categories rooms that we hadn't the opportunity to see. The breakfast is just ok.

This was in a great location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Seaside view from the bedroom and good breakfast buffet.

There was an awful smell of drains after one night and the WiFi did not connect in our room. However we were transferred to the room next door which was much nicer and had neither problem. The staff were very accommodating.

The only thing that I loved was the viw. it jas an amazing view of the Black Sea. also it is located in the middle of the city so you can reach anywhere you wish.

Too small room. Awful smell from WC. Air conditioner was not working correctly. everything other than the location and staff behaviour was awful.

It was very well located with good beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was buffet style and had a lot of food.

The wifi was sketchy in the rooms. They could have added fruit at breakfast!

Very good location, near the sea, restaurants & shops. We had a large comfortable room with sea view. Good bathroom size. Wifi was excellent. Good bkfst with fresh variety of cheese & olives. Free tea at all times. Free valet parking. Helpful friendly staff/owner. Well taken care of building.

Right in the old town, and the street in the front is two-way---I regard that as a plus since the other two main streets in old town are both oneway, and two-way street means it is easy to drive in and out of the town. The parking lot is across the street from the hotel. The view is fantastic: you can sip wine in the room with view of the sea and the harbor. By the way, there are couple of wine shops at the same block with the street. A very good pastry shop is to the left across the street. It is a beautifully decorated hotel, and the staff are very friendly, and speak good English.

The furniture in the room is placed a bit awkwardly (the wardrobe is not along the wall, rather stands alone and forms a corridor with the wall). But that does not affect the functionality of the room. Just interesting.

We've got a room on the top floor with the best view through the big window. And location is very suitable, just near marine with lot of fish restaurants. Hotel is very stylish and cozy with its sea theme.

A Pizzeria is next to so if you don't like pizza's smell in lobby and elevator, think twice :) And the window in the room wasn't clear by some reason but it doen't matter at all by us.

Loved the sitting alcoves facing the sea on top floors. Location convenient to town sites and restaurants. Helpful staff and fun decor.

Arriving by private car can be confusing when trying to park. Stop at Hotel Valet Park place and pay the 20 TL to have them park your car for the night.

Really well located hotel with nice, traditional, wooden rooms looking towards the city. The personal really friendly. I can absolutely recommend this hotel for those visiting Sinop

Very central to the castle ruins and eateries. Lovely room on the top floor with outstanding views. Excellent for a romantic break. Parking organized for us.

Knowing that parking would be done for us would have been helpful. Breakfast was adequate but uninspiring . Leaky shower.
