Park Hotel Stara Zagora

I liked the location, the view from our room (full view of the park), the overall elegance of the place, the facilities - for example having both shower and bathtub in the bathroom, being very close to the park, finding everything you need even for a short stay or if you're less prepared, the excelent breakfast with so many options.

Nothing specifically, maybe the bed could be less hard.

Wifi didn’t work, so we couldn’t work. Rooms and bathroom needs to be updated. Breakfast can be better for this amount of money.

A nice clean hotel, a little bit over-decorated, by the lake. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. Nothing to complaint.

They never replied to my message sent through Booking chat.I had to call 3 times to get someone who was able to speak english. The 2 first calls ? => they just hang up on ! The room 201 is very noisyTemperature in the room was really too hot

Bad maintenance. Almost everything is broken or faulty… fridge, tv and lights in bathroom didn’t work properly.Bad breakfast… food was cold and not fresh… The first day was no cutleries for gabbing the food so we had to use our hands.Coffee machine was broken and no hot water.All food that meant to be warm was cold… they just pulled it out the fridge.No one warned us to book a table for dinner so we was surprised with no tables available…although we tried to call 502-room service but no one answered the phone and we ringed for more than 15 minutes.

The location by the lake is amazing

The spa center was not as excellent as I expected it to be - the steam bath was not always on and you have to go and ask on the reception to be turned on; the Turkish bath didn’t work at any of the 4 days we were there too but beside that everything was great

Combination of spacious, comfortable room with lakeside views, spa facilities and lovely Orpheida restaurant with great food and decor, stylish Christmas decorations. Very friendly reception staff. Lots of choice for breakfast in the hotel.

TV volume too low, no tea bags just coffee in room and at breakfast.

The pool wasn't so big and the water was cold for a child to play.

They were very understanding providing a second extra bed to accommodate our three children. As you know, families with more than 2 children experience difficulties when booking hotel rooms and sometimes have to split per 2 individual rooms/suites which si not your first option on a family vacation.

The personnel at the interior pool was not very friendly.

My bathrobe was old and the belt fell due to an unstitched belt-holding element

AC doesn't working, all rooms smell tobaco, personal doesn't speak english. Sink clogged etc.

Location, breakfast, spa

The mattresses should be changed. They are old, dirty and not comfortable. The opening hours for the spa are from 10:00 o’clock, which is pretty late for people who want to do a session before breakfast.

Great place to stay in Stara Zagora. Close to big mall and city center.

Location is great at the front lake in Stara Zagora.Restaurant looks good staying oustide by the lakeRoom comfortable and good size, excellent view by the lake.Good hotel if they improve a little the services and some smiles on the staff

Breakfast not ready on time, starts at 8.00 AM which is quite a bit late if you travel for work. They do offer a take away option for the guests which want to leave earlier.Anyway at 8.00 AM at the breakfast room they were still bringing the food from kitchen with a lot of trays empty, no scrambled eggs and other things.Not good..

Clean and staff were nice.

It was so hot. To bring down temperature I had to leave and keep the window open and put the air conditioner on. When I came back in 2 hours it was more reasonable.Breakfast didn’t start until 8 which is far too late. They offered a bag breakfast to go but it was sub par. Poorly appointed. Had to request ironing board and iron.

Very nice hotel with character and convenient Spa and pool. Lovely room overlooking lake. Great restaurant.

Only thing slightly disappointing was breakfast - all 'hot' food was cold - no staff around to advise them of this. No preservatives (jam/marmalade) available.

I don't recommend staying in this hotel because: 1. the central ventilation system was loud and I requested to change the room; 2. the new room's central ventilation system continued to be loud and the room was opposite the elevator in combination with room door not isolating the noise, it was very loud due to hotel guests talking whole night in front of the elevator; 3. despite a separate area in the hotel's restaurant for smokers, restaurant guests were smoking in the main area and the waiter did not tell them anything until we asked him to make them aware, very unpleasant dinning and inhalating smoke; 4. at check-out, because the rooms of my colleagues were not properly assigned with the right name, I paid my colleagues hotel invoice, because the reception did not check my name; cancellation of payment made and correct amount paid: unpleasant experience.

Very noisy ; constant noise from ventilation; staff not professional or friendly; smoking allowed inside the restaurant

Very helpful personnel, receptionists, especially kitchen personnel was very helpful regarding food preparation for our baby
