Pros +
- Very quaint, warm and rustic
- The breakfast is just good—anything you need to start the day is available. Delicious mini wursts, natural scrambled eggs, fruits, exceptional breeds, mini croissants, a selection of cheeses, and the best coffee are available, carefully served warm and with cream if you want. The car park is free and is near the rooms.
- Great location, breakfast, comfortable modern, clean comfortable room, great shower..
Cons -
- No coffee maker in the room, no fridge, simple single beds with small comforters
- The menu is small, and after a couple of days, you will start to repeat some dishes. It's time to try around!
- Be aware.. of sliding glass door in bathroom. Be aware no internet connection available.

Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was excellent and since we stayed for 6 nights they even got us, upon request, a clothes rack.
Surprisingly modern. Nice breakfast.
The beds were short, but I am very tall (2m), so no surprise there. The cleaning lady was kind of pushy for me to vacate although checkout wasn’t until an hour later.
Great breakfast, kind staff, central location
Good, clean room (if somewhat humid); lovely retro pool; good food; helpful, pleasant staff
humidity in room; sadly they no longer serve Schwarzbier (black beer) - I do hope they reinstate this
Ordered a table in the "Beer garden", Found that we were sitting in a terrible sewage smell and were about to throw up during dinner. Waiter and owner - this is a beatiful hotel in the country side owned by same family for 400 years - did not appologize. They said there was nothing they cound do, not their fault as sewage system around had dried out during heat. In fact, I got angry. I think this is our last visit ever.
That owner and staff did not apologize and did not give us something in return.
