- It's a very basic hotel, but for one night it was fine. Family run, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely.
- Good location, just a short walk from the town centre. Room was bright and clean.

Cons -
- The main problem was that the wifi didn't work. It was fixed once, but when we returned after going out for dinner, it didn't work anymore and the staff couldn't fix it either. It didn't help that the staff are not on site, but you have to phone them (inconvenient if you're on a UK phone contract), and then wait for them to arrive. Especially annoying when you have arrived after a very long drive from the UK and just want to check in and access the room (other hotels in the area leave keys in key lock boxes). And then you feel bad if you have to keep calling them back. Also, it would have been really nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

the heating made a constant noise that made impossible to sleep, which was the worst of my stay. the bed covers were of very bad quality (plastic and not comfortable). the duvet was too small and the pillow was of the kind that disappears the moment you put any weight on it. also, to call that a ‘fabulous’ breakfast is, honestly, a joke. even in current pandemic times….
