Logis Hôtel Domaine du Moulin Cavier - Restaurants & Spa

Location for my needs and restaurant on site.

The rooms! There is no separate shower/sink room with a door. It's in the room! Only the toilet has a door. The bed was awful. The room super small. Would not stay here again.Garish colors and supposedly this is a spa. Not sure how that works as it is far far from spa level and too expensive for what is offered.Food on site was a brasserie. Just ok. Too expensive.

Great location & very easy to find. Ideal for an overnight stay whilst travelling SouthExcellent choice of food for breakfast, we stayed on a Sunday evening and unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday, but we knew that before we arrivedThe Spa fragrance as you enter the hotel is amazing!

A little out of town so limited options for food without taking the car

They kindly gave us some lovely bread and local cheese as we had missed our restaurant booking as we were delayed. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was excellent.

Spacious room. Clean. Easy parking. Windmill!

We had booked a table in the gastronomic restaurant the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu and food were amazing and we are both seasoned foodies. The bed was comfortable but we had to leave early so had little sleep unfortunately.

When I checked in the lady asked if I wanted to book a table for dinner. My original request had asked for menus for each restaurant, the brasserie and the gourmet restaurant as I expected I would want the gourmet one. I had to request these again a couple of days before arrival ( bearing in mind the booking was made months in advance. )I was told by the receptionist that I hadn’t booked a table and there was unlikely to be one available. Having stayed in hotels for the last 3 nights where the service had been impeccable I was disappointed, and that had a bearing on my view of the stay. It was poor service, it was rude and it made me feel unwelcome. We generally feel very at home in France and this left a bitter taste. My husband also had a difficult conversation with the same receptionist about towels as the re was only one hand towel and one bath towel in the room and the girl had confirmed with me that there were 2 guests. We won’t be returning even though the food at the gourmet restaurant was amazing.

nothing in particular . Breakfast is good but the lady attending breakfast was very rude when we did ask a question .

Outside pool is old and all the garden needs to be tighted up and taken care of .

It was a convenient stopping point on our way south from Caen. Facilities were good including choice of restaurant

Calm, quiet and restful, and the pool and spa were much appreciated. Great breakfast and brasserie too. Lovely staff.

We had the smallest room, as it was the only one available on day of booking/arrival. But quite sufficient.

We loved the location of the hotel. The room we stayed in was lovely, spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. The grounds were beautiful too. We were only sorry to be staying one night.

Messaged hotel because of late arrival due to delayed flight- although kitchen closed before my arrival time I was able to order food in advance which was kept for me and there was a warm welcome when I got to the hotel. Rooms are not huge, but very comfortable with a good shower. Easy location to access from the autoroute.
