Pros +
- It's was a beautiful area with lots of hiking trails. The hotel was very nice and I can understand why it is used for wedding receptions and the staff are very nice.
- Very, very nice place in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Super cute staff, great breakfast. We arrived late, so unfortunately kitchen closed, but the staff made some nice ‘evening snack’!
- Beautiful buildings and surroundings. Staff were very helpful in sorting out a mistake with the beds.
Cons -
- Cleanliness is not a big issue with them. All the window frame and door frames need cleaning. Bathroom walls had hairs stuck on them, cobwebs in the corners, blood steaks from killed flies, light coverings are full of dead flies and the ventilation didn't work. The TV was in the bedroom when it should have been in the living room. Downstairs all the electrical sockets were on the one wall so you could not charge your mobile devices while sitting at the dining table. The kitchen is a joke with only 2 hot plates, no microwave or oven. The ventilation window didn't work for upstairs but they wrote an excuse for that, which isn't great in summer when you are sweating in your upstairs bedroom. Not a good excuse, get it fixed! Also, the dog friendly flats are not great as they are quarantined in the flat with no possibility to go into garden for a pee or some fresh air, as are the owners. The hotel should open up the back of flats with a terrace for more privacy as they are selling flats as holiday flats where people are staying longer and not rooms where people stay for one or two nights. Some dog litter bins would also be good. Finally, someone parked his car in front of our flat, directly in front of our chairs and thought this was normal to look up an exhaust pipe when you have paid a small fortune for a flat. All in all too much money for what is being offered!
- Single beds were too narrow and hard.
- The room was very small.

Single beds were too narrow and hard.
Friendly staff. Beautiful location.
The room was very small.
Beautiful nature around the hotel . The restaurant has excellent food , good wine and draft beer choices . Breakfast was also good . It felt like I an on holiday
The room ( No3 ) was fine for single person , would be a little tight for a couple .
The location and grounds of hotel, shirt walk to fjord, very pretty
The rooms were upstairs, which was not clear, and a member of our party has a bad knee, so that was not good. The room was very small and musty smelling and the shower had no lip so water got all over the floor after we showered. Worst of all was they gave us rooms knowing that the climate control thermostat did not work! The staff had to adjust it manually and one room was unable to be adjusted. They said the thermostat was old and they could not get parts to repair it, but it makes no sense that they not replace something broken! Pretty stupid. There was an elevator in the hotel, but we didn't get rooms in that building. Not happy with my stay
Excellent location, beautiful buildings, nice room, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast.
The location is wonderful, almost a fairytale The room was wonderful and we loved the bathDinner was very nice and so great that the cook came to the table and explained the dishesStaff was nice and interested input trip
Breakfast was nice but in relation to dinner somewhat less than we expectedWe would have preferred more healthy products like fruits
The location was beautiful. The evening meal was of a very high standard and the reception and evening staff were warm and friendly.
We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a refrigerator. The breakfast was ok but with limited choice.
perfect overnight stay, comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, friendly staff, great experience
A beautiful old hotel out in the country. Impeccably maintained forever. Good food. Peaceful surroundings. Friendly staff. What more could one ask for?
We had to carry our very heavy luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs without causing damage to stairs or walls which were without a scrape anywhere. The building we stayed in was built long before elevators.
Nice fashion of building from the XIX. century.
There was only 20C in the room and I could not set to higher because it is done centrally. When I claimed on the 2nd evening, they promised to do something. The result was that temperature increased to 20,3C till midnight. I was working the whole evening and this temperature is not enough if somebody is sitting for hours. I was cold and disappointed.
Beds were very comfortableMeal in restaurant was very goodWifi worked greatShower had good amount of waterGlutenfree was provided
Breakfast was refilled to lateRoom was very smallFire detector was missingNo yoghurt at the breakfastVery thin walls
Personale service was fine
A lot of flies in the restaurant and the fish was not ok fried.
The location was perfect! Beautiful panorama route nearby for hiking lovers. The sofas were very comfortable and also the bed was very nice. The terrace outside the suite was a nice extra.
Like everywhere in Jutland, millions of flies. Our suite was full with flies. Because all windows and doors had no protection net, it was unpossible to keep the out. It irritated us after a while. The suite could have been cleaner upon arrival. The kitchen was not clean, the chairs at the table were full of dirt and there were childrens socks under the table. I guess they belongued to previous guests. It was nice to have new towels every day and also nice to have our bed made every day, but the cleaning in between guests should really get more attention.
Nice breakfast. Very nice location. Friendly staff. A good place to relax.
Small rooms, They could improve the cleaning of the rooms.
very good breakfast.Very good dinner.
The restaurant and ambience
Room a bit basic for the price
Very beautiful, starting point of the best nature walk in Denmark.
Service trucks early in the morning.
