Hotel Gutshaus Parin - Bio- und Gesundheitshotel

Beautiful and peaceful hotel with excellent sauna facilities! We stayed in a Sonne room and loved the spaciousness, wooden furnishings and balcony looking over the gardens. Breakfast was splendid, with bread from their own bakery and many vegan options among the different spreads, home made apple juice etc. Little touches were taken care of too, with tea lights and yogi tea bags in room. The whole surroundings felt really peaceful and we would have liked to stay for longer. The sauna facilities are small but perfect for two people, with sauna and Ruheraum, each in a little converted wagon, and outdoor pool. We could also use the big sauna at the partner house (ten minutes drive) which has both bio and Finnish saunas and big Ruheraum. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

There was a little confusion regarding check in, as my messages on this platform weren't read by staff, who were already away at this point (and the staff member who did the check in didn't have access to this platform). Maybe advance notice of times when communication will not be possible would help! However, staff were lovely and very accommodating: we were able to use the sauna at the partner manor house that evening and the one at Parin the next morning after check out, so we didn't lose out.

Prior to our arrival we did not realise it was a vegetarian only hotel but that did not detract from our overall impression of the hotel. Although none of our party were vegetarian we all enjoyed the selection of food on offer. ??

The natural swimming pool and the fantastic setting and landscape

No fridge in room to keep drinks cool! A mini bar in room is essential in summer.

No fridge in room, no coffe in room , no internett in room, just vegetarian food.

The ambience is amazing, the building looks like a castle in a nice garden. Good sauna and nice swimming pool included in the price.

Amazing place. Full of nature and organic food. We had dinner and breakfast which was soo tasty! Room is amazing, it’s big and in nature! Definetely recommended!

I think we liked almost everything. Breakfast was delicious. The setting and ambience were outstanding. The spread was wide and you could eat in one of three locations, including outside in the sun (if it shone). The options were all vegetarian, but there were cold and warm choices. Same for dinner. Loose teas, coffee, and a coffee machine. Great drinks card for the evening. Great bread. The tea room was nice (we were lucky to be right next door). There's even a guest computer, which. came in handy for us, though it could use an update ;-) The natural pond/pool was delightful. The personnel were all nice, helpful, and accommodating. The A-Z booklet in each room preempted most questions and the reception took care of the rest. The room was great. Tastefully decorated with nice furniture and a beautiful sea-inspired aquarelle painting. You looked out into a scenery of green and flowers. You could see the old wooden beams and the floors were a beautiful hardwood. Make sure to take advantage of the 2pm check-in time to take in as much of what the hotel has to offer as possible.

I can't find anything to criticize, but I did have a few things I noticed that may have made the stay better. It's not really wheelchair accessible, unless there was a room on the ground-floor I didn't know about. The steps are a little steep and could use a handrail along the wall, not just the spiral part. There's a sauna! But maybe a sign on the door to warn guests that the personnel would need at least 1 hour's notice if you're the first one to use it in the morning would be nice.

Spectacular garden with multi level terraced, wonderful old house in a beautiful rural setting and the breakfast was extraordinary, with lots of homemade vegan spreads!

Nothing really!

Good breakfast, much to chose from, but NO MEAT. The place is quiet and simple and not crowded.

This place would appeal very much to people who have chosen a specific lifestyle, more into the alternatives. For me it feels a little uncomfortable, probably if i had known that is was rooted so much into the vegetarian/vegan and alternative ways, i would maybe have chosen another place.

We loved the pool, the quiteness, the sun terrace and breakfast area.
