Hotel Erve Hulsbeek

The hotel is cozy and relaxing with modern, quiet rooms, situated in the beautiful forests of nature park Het Hulsbeek. I have stayed here several times before and it is always a true pleasure.

Nothing to complain about.

Location, cleanliness, quiet.

Breakfast was inedible. Rubbery eggs and greasy bacon with very little in between. The evening dinner was really bad, and we left most of it on the plate. We even discussed the poor quality with the Chef, but he admitted he couldn't afford to provide non-frozen pizza's! My wife's Eastern/Asian dish was swimming in salty soy sauce, to which he had added tobasco (instead of fresh chilli). Room was OK, but uninsprired.

The location is very nice.

The staff is unfriendly and they don’t want to send me the invoice. Very unprofessional.

Everyone was really friendly, the food was delicious and the rooms are comfortable and spacious

If I had to choose something it would be the limited dinner menu, but I am really picking- everything was wonderful

The room was clean and a decent size. Breakfast was lovely and the area around the hotel is great for a family vacation.

The beds were a bit too soft for my taste. And the glass walls and sliding doors of the wc and shower dont give much privacy and hardly cancel any noise.

Quiet hotel with lovely breakfast and a la carte menu. Very comfy beds. Super friendly owners. Close proximity to the recreation park Het Hulsbeek was a hit with my child.

Wait for the dinner was a bid too long.

It’s a beautiful location, and the rooms are spacious & comfortable. Great shower as well. Breakfast was very good, and the Boxing Day dinner was absolutely beautiful.

Not all the staff felt welcoming, but some were lovely. The location is beautiful but there isn’t much available in the area in terms of a bar/café. It’s possible to sit in the restaurant, but there is not cozy place to have a drink and relax apart from your room or the restaurant. Unfortunately we didn’t get great weather so we did miss that. Separate shower gel and shampoo in the shower would have been appreciated, especially in a 4* hotel.

Great staff, super helpful and aiming to assist the guests, especially noticeable was the support we got for the new years dinner to make sure our young kids can eat early and that we the adults had the food delivered to the room later on warm and fresh. In addition if you are a dog owner coming with dogs this is by far the best hotel I had that allows for dogs.

Very nicely decorated rooms. Good breakfast. Oldenzaal is also a lovely town to explore nearby.

People are polite.

Beef and chicken have the same price in restaurant. The restaurant is mainly for receptions and activities for people coming from outside. Room looks clean but it is definitely not.

Amazing hotel. Excellent, friendly service. Quiet, comfortable rooms with genuinely comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and dark, good quality curtains and furnishings. Food in restaurant was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location - country side with area for activities. Good parking. Good rooms. Excellent restaurant. Contonental breakfast of qood quality. All in all, 5 of 5 stars.

The service received was excellent, the room was comfortable and well presented. We have a very nice room on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking the gardens. The staff were very polite, helpful and bilingual. Great nights sleep with lovely rural grounds to explore. The breakfast was very good with a wide verity on offer. Thank you.

There is not much to dislike about this property but a comment from my son 'I wish they had crepe/pancakes at breakfast'. There was a coffee machine in the room but no instructions on how to use it. Not that I would use it, just an observation.

This is absolutely stunning hotel set in the most beautiful idyllic surroundings and is a total escape. It is next to a beautiful lake with much to do around it for both adults and children. We are only had one night to stay as we were travelling through. The hosts are lovely and you can tell it is a hotel run by family, and with lovely staff. Do not hesitate to book this fantastic escape from the chaos of travelling.

We loved the location, the ambiance, the decor, the many conveniences, the bike rental, the included extended breakfasts, the food including the BBQ that was organized for our family reunion, the excellent personalized service and much more!

There was not a single thing to dislike.
